The way i fucked up is spectacular though, I bought in eth last year in january when it was really cheap, had about 33 eth, traded 18 eth in march/april to roughly 1 btc (Then ETH exploded from 100-ish to 200-300)
traded that 1 btc via daytrading upto around 4-5 btc, then lost like 3.4 btc on a pajeet pump and dump
then btc crashed at end of may and i sold out whilst it was on its way to the bottom.
Had I held that 1-2 btc and 13-14 eth I had instead of selling for 3k pounds, would have made tens of thousands of pounds from an 800 pound investment :

I mean money wise it looks terrible, but my overall situation is comfy. I made the money I put in (close to 50k eurobucks) in steam markets during 2014-2015 so it's not like I was breaking bricks to get it. By people's standards here having 100k already puts you into the elite level. I traveled a lot had some unbelievable experiences. Some days I just got up packed three days of clothes and took the train. Eventually ended up in Rome/ Berlin / St Petersburg depending on direction, completely on a whim. Enjoyed some really good thotties I've randomly met. I'm typing to you from a 150 yr old house in my great grandmas village. Needless to say no degenerate in sight (excluding myself :)). I think I didn't cash out because I wouldn't know what to do with it. Buy a yactch? A plane? The fuck for. To build a real legacy I'd need more than 3M

value (what markets are) is created and destroyed because people are either willing or unwilling to pay certain prices, but money itself isn't created or destroyed.
but you could also argue the value of money does change with inflation or forex markets.
the trick is cashing a high amount of money out of the market before the value can drop, but arguably someone had to fill your order so the high value was just transferred to them, so when the value goes down, they "lose" money.
