How do you keep your motivation for something? What stops you from giving up?

How do you keep your motivation for something? What stops you from giving up?

ummmmm, because i'm based, sweetheart????

Do you ever have periods where your motivation is lost and you have to reignite it?

I always give up

my will is the fiercest of them all and my determination out of this world

The outcome is what keeps my motivation alive and what stops me from giving up is what I'll keep being if I do indeed give up, don't give up

Is it because you can't find a good enough reason to continue?
As expected from based Romania

You're right. Maybe I need to realise the reality of my situation and always keep the end result in mind

I do things so I Wouldn't be alone.

But When I'm finally alone I don't do anything.

Are you saying your aim is to not be alone?

sunk cost fallacy

Yeah. I think so.

The idea of potentially finding someone keeps me motivated but I haven't left my room in 4 months due to summer. I lost all my motivation and everything I worked hard for.

How do we know it's a sunk cost and not just a temporary loss of motivation?
That's rough m8. Just know that if you've done it before, you're still qualified to do it again
I hope you find someone soon

once I start something I have to see things through to the end or else it will weigh on me until the day I die
is there something you're struggling to find motivation for?

I don't think you understand how sunk cost fallacy works
I spent the majority of my time trying to put something together
At some point I realized it's gonna take the rest of my life to do it right
So I looked back and said fuck it I've gone this far why not keep going

>is there something you're struggling to find motivation for?
Not anything in particular. I just give up a bit easily and I'm not as productive as I could be
That does clarify things. If you don't mind me asking, what are you putting together?

Motivations a temporary shit

internet accounts and computer code

since you're able to recognize those things about yourself I'm sure you'll be able to change them too if that's what you want, I love you asobi aussie

We just need to find a way to keep reigniting it
Internet accounts?
Thanks m8

The internet is not a real world
It is a virtual playground with made-up people which you can use to build stories upon for readers to enjoy

I think I kind of get what you mean. You seem like a very dedicated person

Attached: olivia smile.png (468x451, 230K)

That's how it tends to look on the outside
The inside perspective points more towards an unhealthy obsession
I hope you find your own personal motivation user

just remember that as long as you're alive you'll have to do shit to survive

>I hope you find your own personal motivation user
Thanks
This reality is catching up to me

It's also good to get different perspectives on things, change things up if you want to refresh how to do things

I usually don't have motivation at all

You don't lack motivation, you lack initiative
Doing/Learning something new is the difficult part and we are reluctant because it literally produces pain for the brain(located in the same zone)
After you started then it comes another difficult part, attention. At one point you'll have problem doing your thing aka stuck or is too overwhelming. The brain gets easily diverted by small things to reward himself/satisfaction

Obsession

same i never done anything or had the strengh and motivation to do

i have already given up all, i cant give up anymore
im just drifting
