It’s okay. A lot of us have grown up and can’t spend a lot of time on Jow Forums anymore. Even PD rarely drops by nowadays, really makes me sad but such is life I suppose. At least a lot of the old, cancerous gayposters have left too.

No, I got that part down because I did that too, but you used different colors, such as white and this orange-pinkish color to shade the hair, whereas what I did was take black, dial the opacity way down, apply it in conjunction with the light source, and then spam the smudge tool like it's my dick.

I want to do what you did with the colors, but I'm not good enough with color theory yet to know which ones I should use.

oh for that i just looked at what gabriel's hair looks like in the anime and just copied it. it's not because i know my color theory. you drew an OC character so i can understand you having some difficulties to do that. hell i would too desu
