Ive been running an online business for a decade, though its more of create different web projects, make money with them, sell or spin off into another project, work on that for awhile. I would keep doing it, maybe scale it back or hire some more staff but running your own business is pretty comfy.

Literally the first rule of investing is don't put it on the market if you can;t afford to lose it. who gives a fuck if it's crashed or is just waiting to moon. you fucked up. don't blame the market for being a retard.

I personally have a single "working" trade strategy, but it's very rare to get the ideal scenario (I get like 2-3 trades a week on dead market days like the past month) and gains are quite small (1-2% per trade, although sometimes it can go up to 5-10%, but that's really rare).
I'd be satisfied with that, but liquidity is shit as well (so it doesn't compound at all).
Keep in mind that I'm still wagecucking, so I have to trade bigger time frames so that my trading doesn't interfere with my day job.

I'm batting 2 for 3 with my most recent divergence-based strategy. If you look at BTC-USD for 2018-03-08 to 2018-03-13, it didn't quite move as I expected on 3-13, and I fucked up, but a proper stop loss could have kept me in profit.
With that said, what's giving me tons of confidence right now is Heikin Ashi and how automation friendly it is. I don't want to say more than that, but my days of wagecucking are coming to an end very soon.
