Banjo-Tooie

Banjo-Tooie is the greatest 3D Platformer of all time.

(Note: 3D Platformers are the greatest genre of all video games)

>muh Conker.
I love Conker, but Banjo-Tooie is still much better - Not everything has to be muhture games for muhture gamers such as yourself ;^)

> better than the original

Banjo-Tooie fails at being a superior sequel to the previous game, Banjo-Kazooie, in the most important factor, gameplay. Everything else about the game is amazing, the atmosphere and worlds are excellent, the characters are great, and the story is spectacular. But the biggest problem Tooie has is its sheer size of the worlds you go through, and the sluggish speed it takes to complete tasks in this game.
A jiggy in Kazooie would take thrice as long or even longer in Tooie, due to how large the maps are, the significant increase in techniques needed to traverse through the levels, and the high amount of backtracking required to grab all of the collectables. While I did praise the new worlds in Tooie, the major problem they have aside from the huge size, is the high amount of dead space in these maps, unlike how Kazooie made every location and landmark in a stage worthwhile to check out, especially when finding secrets, and again, the high amount of backtracking needed to find everything in an area.
Banjo-Tooie is not a bad game, but it is relatively mediocre when comparing it to its prequel, which while smaller and worse in most aspects, is more enjoyable to play.

Lies.

The first one had sharper focus but the second one is more charming. Good pick, OP.
