Actually, such a thing is very much Christian. The only problem is that it's only half of the solution given that you have secular governments doing secular things, and the fact that there is no accountability whatsoever for how the Bishops manage the money of the faithful. Separation of Church and State is not Catholic, user. It is my understanding that the German Bishops are the primary responsible for the liberalisation that is going on in the Church right now, so there's also that, but regardless, being Catholic also means that you have to put up with these sorts of chastisements and you being incumbent on putting the priesthood's feet to the fire if necessary. Sorry if this is an unsatisfactory answer, I understand the general dissatisfaction among the laity but that's how things are. The Pope signed the Abu Dhabi declaration some time ago, there is a great apostasy in the Church right now and we need strong people who are willing to become the Church Militant that they are supposed to be.

I'm a convert. I knew there was more to life then what was visible. I dabbled in the occult and even with Islam in high school. Made friends with Mormons, Baptist, and Calvinist. JW are the only Christian sect who's members have never participated in any major war throughout their 100+ year history. In fact, they were imprisoned in the LOLacaust for refusing to war for Hitler WHILE they were imprisoned in the US for refusing to war for the US. Your faith without demonstrations and practice will be weakened in times of tribulation and confrontation. Look at the demons up above. They believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that faith in him saves. Yet why are they still counted as demons? Because their works are anti-Christ while believe IN Christ.
"Works" in the Bible is not charity. It is demonstrations or proof of genuine faith or actions motivated by faith. Not good deeds of charity otherwise Ellen Degenerate would be saved by her good deeds.

I was raised Catholic and started being agnostic some time in high school. My parents are crazy, and I'd rather leave the Semitic bullshit behind, but I'm still thinking about trying to become Christian again.
I'm a senior in college, and tried really hard to get into it after meeting a Catholic girl I was really into. Things ended between us, but I still went hard with practicing Lent and going to church every Sunday last semester. I even talked to one of the priests one-on-one every now and then.
But I just have such a hard time believing any of it. All this turn the other cheek, love your neighbor, everyone is equal stuff never goes away, no matter how much pilpul you hear from Christians on here. That's in addition to obvious inconsistencies like saying it's a monotheistic religion but having the saints, or how thinking about sex earns you a one-way ticket to Hell, but every priest at a funeral says the person is in Heaven.
Sorry for the blogpost, but basically the reason why I still want to try and embrace Christianity is because I don't know how else I'm going to find a decent girl. The only problem is that most church girls are either autistic, kind of dumb or closet whores.

The inconsistencies you pointed out are only real in your mind. A good priest doesn't even mention the name of the person during mass at their funeral. And veneration of the Saints is not adoration, all the prayers go to God and God alone. If you find it hard accepting the teachings of Catholicism, that's probably something you should meditate on, you are not called to weakness, you are called to the rejection of sin stop being a slave. The signs all exist and have been given to you like the Holy Shroud and other miracles, they exist expressly because you are poor in spirit and you need something to convert you that isn't just the (righteous) moralising that priests do. So seek those signs and convert. See the Bible archaeology of Ron Wyatt, it's a big redpill, see the investigations made to the painting of Our Lady of Guadalupe or even the Shroud of Turin. Then come to terms with why you reject God's message in the New Testament, that is a problem that exists solely within you and that you should confront. The preaching isn't wrong, it has been the same for 2000 years, you're the one that is wrong and you should accept that with great humility.
