Who's going to win the trade war between China and U.S.?

Who's going to win the trade war between China and U.S.?.

Give me the simple one line answer faggots. I hate talking numbers and shit.

bitcoin

US but it's gonna hurt.

China has a much larger percentage of their gdp reliant on exports to the US than US has with China.

USA

United states, we actually invent shit

To add to what i said, the midwest is gonna get completely fucked. More than they already are.

How come?

Everybody loses in a trade war.

China holds a couple trillion of dollars because of the trade deficit, but the USA has the printing press.

Or to be more precise, everybody who ISN'T in the trade war wins.

Who cares, crypto will rise

Why will crypto rise?. Is this a sure thing?. Like 98% sure?? or is this like guessing like always with crypto?.

Because I touch myself at night

will it tho? why would a recession stimulate a speculative and manipulated market?

who ever has the most gold.

China

USA owes China bazillions lmfao. They have a massive debt

They could dump all their usd to crash it
Or better, buy gold with it at the fed
Oh wait

Putin

OK, now how does this shit work?. If us and China hate each other so much and owe this and that and even ready to fight in battle overseas how come we don't just like hold money hostage?.

Tell em you know what, you owe us and we're going to take it off of what we owe you?. Who enforces shit when two countries are in this situation?. Who is the parent? judge?. Why can't we just be like, fuck you. We're just not paying you back and we're square.

China will gain strength in their lart of the world
Usa will not
Europe will strengthen ties with mercosur, china with africa

A lot of the products China is slapping tariffs on such as soy and corn come from the midwest. It makes sense because that's also where a lot of the gop base is. Europe did a similar thing to Florida when we had a trade war with them. Unfortunately, since the US has a 2 party system with very defined territories, it's really easy to target certain products to damage the party in power.
That said, US can definitely out-last China in a trade war, it'll just really suck for us.

Attached: SB-PR-RGBChor.png (760x587, 299K)

Countries dont actually pay back debt
Also, the word youre looking for is 'war'

>It makes sense because that's also where a lot of the gop base is

So China took this point into consideration and kind of wanted to target Republicans because of Trump?.

>Countries dont actually pay back debt

So like they're glad we never pay them since they're earning interest on it or whatever?.

UK

>Trade war

When are we going to get out of the mindset of the 1700s and realize that trade is not a zero-sum game? The only people who "win" because of tariffs are executives of manufacturing companies and they keep lobbying dumb shits into office.

You can't "win" a trade war. Tariffs are kneecap both countries. If countries had 0 terrifs the world would be a better place to live.

Attached: story461b.gif (600x450, 6K)

DT has been iching for a trade war and China is NOT happy which leads me to believe that China has more to lose.

"DT" has been itching to suck and fuck Jewish Israeli dicks. That's all he's itching to do. His children are all married to heebs. Kill all Jow Forumstards.

>thinking sovereign debt works like that
USA just won't pay it

Why are you liberal cucks doubting Trump? He knows what he's doing here, you're just butthurt because Hillary lost.

>If countries had 0 terrifs the world would be a better place to live.
Liberal cuck spotted. I bet you love open borders huh

Yes, China doesn't want a full-on trade war, they know they'll get fucked. They know about our party system and about our presidential/congressional elections. The idea is if they can create enough discord within their own voting block to threaten Democrat wins, then gop and trump will back down.

Europe did this exact thing more than a decade ago.

open boarders =/= open trade

There's a difference between allowing a bunch of sand niggers and spics in your country to pay for their welfare with taxes and buying their raw materials cheap so you can turn it into manufactured goods to sell back to them without bureaucracy.

If tarrifs didn't exist maybe they would stay in their shitholes

If the trade wars grow into a bigger and global problem over the next years, they could potentially lead to an economical downfall. Directly tied to this is paper money and devaluation. We all know how gold and silver go up on times of trouble and how people stock up on these when they see danger and volatility. This could set a massive start point to pump the marketcap in crypto back to 1 trillion, atleast, and trigger a mainstream response after awareness. Main requisites for this to happen are to increase media info on cryptos and add simple ways to acquire Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, aswell as basic knowledge on cryptos and its mechanism.

But the main reason is the following: when blood is in the street you would do anything to save yourself, even choosing that what you're completely scared of. If trade wars bring blood to stocks and markets in general, you will see the cryptomarket as a safehaven. Even more if there's true adoption, you can go anywhere in the world and pay with the same coin, without any kind of problem. No more paper money, say hello to a globalized digital form of storing value and payments.

Which side depends on the flow of trade for food?

That side loses. Every time. It's what made the USSR lose the cold war. You can't eat tanks and planes.

thanks user me gusta the reasoning

Good they got what they voted for. A complete idiot

Why do people always suggest buying gold over diamonds?. Is it simply because gold is more accessible to people since you can buy it small chunks at a time since to buy a diamond you need a shitload of money per diamond?.

Realistically they're both equally good in investment right?. Or gold over all because more wider range of usage?

Diamonds are more abundant than gold

Does that really matter?. They're more expensive. Even if they're more abundant I guess that doesn't say much since they're still worth a shitload of money.

China alone would suffer more, but we also need to consider russia in this equation, as well as Japan, Indonesia and Korea.

Because as Russia want to play superpower, the Chinese get their resources basically for free, as nobody aside from China would like to continue trading with uncle Putin after his adventures in the Ukraine and his dabbling in other countries issues.

Korea will always stay besides the US, but Japan is more willing to be a mediator in between them. On the other hand, they all are dependent on China for trading purposes, so nobody .

These factors should be considered and it is hardly foreseeable who would "win" aka "break first". But all would lose in terms of gains.

This could totally rek the USA longterm tho... China will certainly look to find ways to reduce its dependency on the US economy. Probably turning to the EU and SEA

Hey got another question for biz. North Korea is OBVIOUSLY doing a psychotic turn around participating in the Olympics and now wanting to hold talks with U.S. This is crazy and extreme change in behavior.

Did Trump's sanctions work or do they have something up their sleeve business related and does it have something to do with China?.

For me, it's because diamonds are an abundant product that only has value because people put value on them. Also, it's extremely easy to fake a diamond and the market is starting to get really saturated with fakes from China that you can't tell are fakes. I really only see diamonds taking a nosedive in pricing in the future. Gold, while abundant, is impossible to fake. I don't like buying gold though, I prefer buying other metals.

America because they win at everything and if you think otherwise you’re a fucking fool or a chink

What other metals do you buy over gold?.

They want the US off the peninsula which is not gonna happen. Denuclearization to them means no nuclear powers in Korea. Thats why China is supporting "peace" after Un visited them.

If Trump agrees to this, he's a moron. If he doesn't, N Korea and China can moan about how aggressive and warmongering the US is.

Chinese consumers and american companies.

The losers will be american consumers and chinese companies.

There's a real world use for them but both are different and they are already globally apreciated. Its also known that its existence is limited.

I could've been describing Bitcoin too, but I didnt mention its digital, and accessible for everybody, even in third world countries.

USA- Chinese still shit in streets

>China
>exists by shamelessly stealing ideas and creating cheap imitation garbage

>America
>among the greatest countries in the world in terms of innovation and originality

Platinum, Palladium and Silver.

Who is going to win?

No one except the super rich.

Fools

USA can feed itself with absolutely no trade.

If we go far enough down the rabbit hole that's the only thing that matters in the end.

We need to end the blue vs red liberal vs conservative divide. We're on the same fucking team or nobody wins. This is the UNITED fucking States of America. Individual states with their own identities, yet a part of one big country together.

1. Turn off mainstream media and learn to stay neutral. Read between the lines as best as you can.
2. Get yourself in decent shape and prepare for the worst of economic conditions. Stock up on necessities and learn skills like living off the land, knowing a radius of 10 miles or more in your area. If it gets really bad, people may begin looting. You can't say this won't happen.
3. Prepare for supply of commercial goods to decrease and demand to rapidly increase as supply declines. Inflation will fuck anyone without some form of barter.
4. Have an escape plan if it gets volatile out in the streets. Worst case is an EMP or nuclear activity. Martial law or some intervention is possible.
5. Invest in commodities like silver, gold, platinum, gasoline. etc. If you have money in crypto fine. Don't go putting all of your disposable income into it. If electricity is off, how are you gonna trade crypto without internet?

I'd hate to see people separate in a time like that, but millions of people will not come together peacefully and share what they have. It will be intermediate families sticking together.

USA has to do something to stay on top. I think we'd strike someone before they strike us. Feel for every country. Seen enough destruction and hard times in the past. Shit is about to get real if things intensify.

Why are those more worth investing in than gold?.

>countries with slavery should be able to freely undercut countries without slavery :^)
You must be at least 18 to post here.

Kim's scientists blew up his testing facility by accident and killed his whole staff in the explosion. That's why he pulled a 180, he already lost the nukes and now he's trying to get paid to pretend he got rid of them on purpose.

/thread

Get out of here. You for real?. source?. I read his constant rogue nuke testing mountain is about to cave in but damn.

Yeah but you shouldn't be allowed to horde guns and also you need to pay more taxes for brown trannies.

basically that would mean the un has to step in and in the worst case it would mean war but war isn't good for business

Like in war, the US will eventually have to pull out despite it being within their capacity to win due to public outcry. China is not answerable to its people so they will outlast us in the end.

OP while I was playing Baldurs gate 2, I went to the bridge district and there was a newspaper boy shouting stuff in speech bubbles. One of the speech bubbles was announcing a story about how no one wins a trade war. I would take this as a sign and short both countries hard.

Attached: h.jpg (796x546, 113K)

>war isn't good for business
>Implying the U.S. hasn't been constantly waging war to increase needs of production to artificially stimulate the economy.

Why do so many tards post on Jow Forums?

Mudslime detected go fuck a goat you dirty subhuman sand nigger

Good advice.

Shame it's being wasted on a Jow Forumsack who doesn't understand that extremism accomplishes nothing.

China’s entire economy relies on dumbass American goyim consuming their cheaply made bullshit. China will get rekt. Jesus Christ you really think a third world communist shit hole can defeat the US in trade war? I hope 1 billion chinks starve.

This. The reason tariffs existed in the first place, is because people refused to compete with countires that have slave labor.

You CANNOT compete against people who will do it for fucking free. Or in the modern world sense, you CANNOT compete with a billion chinks and pajeets who will do it for a dollar a day.

Don't forget to stock up on everclear. Purest consumable alcohol you can buy. No better sanitizer, great for trade and worst case scenario you can get fucked up with it.

Shit will be liquid gold when it hits.

>Even more if there's true adoption, you can go anywhere in the world and pay with the same coin, without any kind of problem. No more paper money, say hello to a globalized digital form of storing value and payments.
I was thinking about starting a general thread where we discuss exactly how to bring about world adoption, ways to evade fiat and fiat trading, tax avoidance on crypto and other things. The main point being how to progress crypto to worldwide use to end fractional reserve banking and centralization that leaves us all slaves.

Would anyone be interested in such a thread?

I have no doubts that on paper the US can come out victorious just like on paper the US should have wiped the floor with Vietnam.

However since it is a democracy you have to consider people's reactions.Trade barriers making it more expensive to buy stuff they want will create a public backlash which will lead to representatives pulling their support. China, like Vietnam doesn't need to care all that much about public opinion and so can endure more than the United States.

>supporting Trump
>opposing Israel
Pick one.

Trump declared Jerusalem to be the capital city of Israel months ago. If avoiding the "international Jewish plot" was your goal you should have turned on him months ago. You're just trying to blame someone else for your status as a basement dweller.

Get a job or kill yourself you worthless Jow Forumsack. The only reason your tumor of a board still exists is because this site would die without your ad revenue.

Attached: 1521317802428.jpg (771x768, 153K)

Why ask? Just do it, not like it take a bunch of effort.

Also, I hope you realize the conversion to crypto will be disastrous however necessary.

Trumpers are too stupid to know that Trump is nothing like them.

id participate in that thread more seriously yeah

I don't get exactly how banks screw us over. Can you break it down?. I mean they hold my money and give it back so they don't really steal anything. Is it because since t hey have EVERYBODY's money and lend out a fuckload of it at a time they know damn well nobody can ever get it all back and that's the money dissappearing but no single person ever notices?.

They loan your account balance at 492x leverage. That 1000 dollars of yours sitting in a bank account, they turn it into 492,000 dollars to loan it out to retards.

The central bank is also putting the government into debt every time we buy money from them. Every dollar the fed reserve prints for us, we owe them a dollar in debt. Therefore we can never pay our debt back.

They're loaning someone else's money to you earning interest for it as if it was theirs, and loaning your money out to someone else getting paid interest as if it was theirs.

Worst comes to worst they go broke because stupid decisions we still throw more money at them to not go bust?.

Yeah, you just reminded me I think.

Agreed. And, just to be clear, I see this as a good thing. Of course I want US companies to do better within a protectionist framework because this means more domestic jobs. Also, it wouldn't hurt the normies to lay off the cheap plastic chink shit.

it's x10, where did you even get 492 from?
and money supply is designed to stay in line with GDP and other indicator's of a country's tangible value.

We can easily change crops next year for different markets. That's the thing about dirt, you can grow all kinds of things in it. China needs to import a lot of soy, if they want to price US farmers out of the market, hey, no problem, they'll grow something else. Like wheat, for Russia.

Food always wins.

I have a good job. A better one than you I’d wager. I could probably fuck your wife sister and mother in front of you at the same time you little bitch made faggot.

Diamonds value are propped up by the diamond cartels, who have created artificial scarcity to keep prices up, especially since vat grown diamonds are the standard in industrial applications now.
Remove the cartels, and diamond prices would fall faster than Bitcoin's.

except the last time the US had a trade war it was under eerily similar circumstances
protecting an all American industry (agriculture) from being left behind in favor of the new, invasive tech sector (manufacturing)
of course looking back now it was an obviously shitty move

Attached: distoflaborforcebysector.png (640x435, 58K)

>money supply is designed to stay in line with GDP
Isn't the CPI supposed to be stable then ?

It's not crazy at all, it's the people around Kim telling him to shut the fuck up. This is good for a lot of people, as NK is literally starving, and they need imports, and they need the embargoes on them lifted.
Kim learned to grift at his father's knee - rattle your sabres every year, get concessions and money and food and embargoes lifted by weak world leaders. It worked under Clinton, Bush Jr. and Obama. He tried the same shit with Trump, and didn't realize who he was dealing with, and Trump backed him the fuck down.
Now NK has to learn to survive without freebies from the West, and it's going to be painful, which is why they're in a rush to get everyone to like them now.
Trust me, down the road, this will be seen by history as a major diplomatic victory for Trump.

Without typing out paragraphs of information, the autistically simple answer is that International law is nothing to fuck with.
If you go against these rules then you and your reputation will be fucked for a long time.

Makes sense the way you put it.

If we tell China fuck you with the money we owe them, everyone will see that and nobody will trust us and won't lend us shit or probably trust us with anything.

If he sees the NON zero-sum nature of trade as a benefit then of course he doesn't believe in open borders you stupid nigger..

CPI is a measure of, and goes up with inflation.

Attached: Fig5-1.gif (640x425, 10K)

You got me interested in home grown diamonds so I just watched this youtube.com/watch?v=CrR2SzGz7Jg.

Says they can grow a fucking diamond in FOUR days. wtf. And the diamonds are almost identical to real ones.

This MUST have an effect on diamond value. They have no way to do this with gold right?.

But inflation happens when the monetary mass grows faster than GDP, so it shouldn't increase if it did follow GDP

shouldn't increase if the monetary mass* did follow GDP

Yeah in international law the 'parent' or 'judge' is all the other states across the globe. International law is lateral rather than hierarchical. This has benefits, but also makes it so that you cant pull off stuff like the idea you suggested (although I wish it was that simple), even against countries like North Korea.

>This MUST have an effect on diamond value
generally yes, but some really good marketing is putting the breaks on that
when people buy a ring for their wedding, the diamond has value BECAUSE it's expensive.
>They have no way to do this with gold right?
other than digging it out of the ground, no
you should be more worried of people just deciding it's not a worth while investment. which is effectively the same thing.

fpbp as usual

CPI is price measure of a specific set of goods, GDP is a price measure of all goods
both go up together with value produced and money supply

It doesn't have an effect on diamond prices, in retail, because they're pushing the "natural is best" meme, and they control the market. The diamond cartels are a known thing. This isn't news. They have propped up diamond prices for decades. They created the whole marketing of diamonds, mostly to women, and have controlled the diamond markets and mines. Why do you think they make movies like "Blood Diamonds"?
And no, nobody has figured out how to make gold, yes, except possibly in a particle accelerator, but the cost is so insanely high, and the output incredibly minute with our current tech, it won't ever produce even a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of gold. Besides, there's plenty of gold still in the ground, it's just really hard to get to it.

There is 21 million tons worth of gold dissolved in the world's oceans, but for the last 200 years no one has figured out a way to filter it efficiently enough. If someone ever did figure out a way, the value of gold would tank incredibly, and it'd be a hillarious economic event.

pretty sure both will lose, other countries may see better terms for their exports though

CPI is how much you have to pay to buy a fixed basket of goods. If the CPI increases, that means inflation has occurred, as you now have to pay more to buy the same basket of goods. Thus, if as you claimed the monetary mass was increasing at the same rate as the economy, the CPI should stay stable. Simply because the new value created would be matched by the new money created, and thus your dollars in your pocket would keep the same value. Now what we can see happening is that the monetary mass increases faster than the economy, producing inflation, and thus the increase of the CPI. And the increase is more than the 2% aimed annually (which in itself is completely stupid, 2% inflation shouldn't even exists, it is hardly justified only by weird economic theories)
