Hi user, I left 10 Skycoin in this Skycoin wallet right here for you, can you decrypt my seed?
>step 1: gldfdqmdjewbjdlaahtjacff.sfrtioox..ljrlmsvovwtulhdwofpjxjbco >pic related >step 2: GIJADBKFCHNL >A>L
You also need to insert spaces as needed. Example unencrypted seed is: >round sugar limit deal glimpse prevent innocent offer prize cushion safe excuse
Also check out my steemit page @chozai for future contests too.
>gldfdqmdjewbjdlaahtjacff.sfrtioox..ljrlmsvovwtulhdwofpjxjbco That's my encrypted wallet seed, decrypt it and get the coins for yourself. I just like cryptography and games.
Kevin Adams
got the seed, but never used skycoin wallet before so a bit confused. Any hints on part 2?
Dominic Campbell
after moving the money will you tell me what was your process? I haven't tried solving something like this before
Gabriel Carter
if i can figure it out, nothing is in the wallet I generated so either im wrong or someone else did it
Oliver Allen
loaded** not generated
Andrew Cook
The 2nd part says that the seed is shuffled and shows you how to unshuffle it. Would've been too easy to leave just the first step.
Ayden Sanders
The coins are still there btw
Wyatt Barnes
thanks!
Landon Flores
Brainlet here. Whenever you guys figure it out, can you post how you did it? I'm curious.
Asher King
I get only 11 seed words. Should be there 12?
Gabriel Russell
Same here, wish I could solve it but I don't have the slightest clue
Jace Garcia
You're right anons, I dun goofed. >gldfdqmdjewbjdlaahsobaggprugqxgzqrr.zbhwovhgezhqpvslhntwfgwajbco >GIJADBKFCHLE This is how it was supposed to be.
Christian Johnson
damn, kinda stumped on >A>L
Liam Cruz
There's 12 letters between A and L, but is that the correct order?
Brayden Phillips
Is that part still right after adding the missing seed word?
Kevin Watson
The Skycoin seems to be gone now. If it was one of you anons, congrats! There will be more like this soon to come, I enjoy coming up with these kinds of things.
Yeah, gave the correct hints. If you labeled the seed words you got from step 1 with the letters from step 2, you had to reorder the words so you'd get the labels from A to L
Juan Gomez
Did not, I'll check it out though! It wasn't meant to be hard, the pot wasn't large anyway. I want to do more in the future and maybe more complex ones, too.
Asher Martinez
ah ok nice joob user
Lucas Moore
good job m8, so what tool did you use?
Andrew Phillips
Yeah it's super good, cracking the infamous Enigma felt so satisfying. I like the idea of crypto puzzles for crypto community although as I mentioned most of the common ciphers could be decoded using online tools.
Adam Hughes
first part is trifid cipher second part is just rearranging seed words according to alphabet - 4th word goes 1st, 6th word goes 2nd an so on
Andrew Williams
I'll get that game, it sounds great. Have you tried notpron? If not, google it, I had a lot of fun playing about 10 years ago, although it's not strictly crypto but puzzle solving. I was thinking I might emply some steganography too in the next contest, so it wouldn't be as easy to 'cheat'. Anyway, I'm off for bed. Have a great day, user.
Cooper Garcia
OP, you should contact me. I love this kind of stuff as well.
