well it's just because with girls there are a lot of bitchiness over fashion and I hated it. I was so happy to wear band shirts, boots and bracers in high school. As a teenager I'm glad I could express myself against all the preppy rich bitches and stuff.
But at the same time, as an adult now, I kinda see how a uniform would help cut back on the "Special snowflake" bullshit of modern times and teach kids that appearances matter and that they are to look/act a certain way to operate harmoniously with others

That's why I think that it's okay to settle on a middle ground when it comes to that kind of stuff. While my high school didn't have a dedicated uniform, there was nevertheless a rigid dress code that essentially required people to not dress as thots and degenerates. No yoga pants, no shirts that showed off your tits, no sagging your pants like a nigger, etc.

I thought that was super cool, So what I did was buy four finger armor rings and attached them to a plate that went on the back of the hand.
I knew going into school with it that it was going to be a risky move. It was a chemistry teacher that called me out on it. But he did it in a cool way. He called me up to the front of the class after he handed out some kind of worksheet and quietly said "go to the office and see if you are allowed that" and so I just went.
I came back and he thanked me for not making a fuss.
