it's not that they can't it's that they won't for fear of backlash, having beautiful characters in video games is sexist, as in the argument is that they are in it because of their looks, too close to truth about the world i suppose
so in order to escape real-world problems they decide to beef up the "characters" of the characters to make them stand out more but it is a pointless exercise since video games in general is an outlet for escape and the witcher is an example of character development and as a sexual object at the same time
the games they make reflect the world they are in, the anglo world is not a good place for video games

Can anyone recommend me the prefer method of acquiring the brain damage necessary to think the Witcher games are good? Played all 3, didn't enjoy in the slightest, felt like neutered RPGs and felt more and more consoletard catering as the series went on. Thank god I pirated, would have sudokued if I spent that much money on it.

The folklore/historical themes and grey morality made it different from the usual RPG's. I didn't like Witcher 3 that much though. Repetitive open world gameplay is overrated as fuck and the story was bland until the dlc's.
