is it possible to learn day trading crypto with demo account only?
I am aiming for $50 day reliably. Is it even possible?

no you learn with experience when you put skin in the game. put in 500$ and try to learn, you won't learn with invisible money that has no risk if you lose it
what would make the difference if it is real or not?
Even if you manage to make 50$ daily or even more...the day will come were a bad trade will wipe out all of your gains
Short answer, no
no
There's no point in demo accounts for crypto. There is use for demo accounts on Forex though.
this is truth. but if you're looking for $50/day, $500 might not cut it. You can do it with 500, it'll just be a lot of work. A grand would be better, or two if you can spare it.
This is Terrible advice. Op should start with demos to learn the basics and the put money in. I lost a ton in stocks when I first started trading due to pure ignorance of how the market moves. Don't use demos forever but make sure you have a solid idea of wtf you're doing or you might be better off going to a slot machine
don't day trade crypto you will cry
One of the most cancerous strategies to have as a trader is daily profit expectations since it will push you to trade when you shouldnt be.
yeah if you have 10k+ to trade with
This, kreil is my hero personally too bad he hates crypto and wants nothing to do with it

I sort of agree, but I would still try with a demo account first, to at least get some of the basics down.
Then, go to a coin that's relatively cheap with decent volume (maybe ONT or BNB at the moment?) and play around with those for a week or two.
I would say don't go all in with BTC/USD(T) trading at first, or you'll probably lose all your money right away. I practiced and made some $ with NEO first before diving into BTC/USD(T) trading directly.
$50 a day? Depends on your stack size.
daytraders don't win. luckily crypto money is easy. get rich in two ways:
1. buy rumours sell news
2. buy low cap gems and wait
good luck
You mean bitmex testnet?
Yeah, you can learn
very bad idea to day trade on a simpsonean market
you have to behave as you would under real stress. it's like if you only went to the gun range and thought you would do well in combat. you can actually lose everything if you make poor choices.
There's a lot more pressure to cut your losses ona bad trade than on testnet. As soon as I see the wrong colored candle I start getting doubts and closing my positions.
the 500$ is used to learn how it works, you should expect to lose it all. when you get a hang of it is when you put in a more significant amount to daytrade with
>Is it even possible?
possible yes. Easy. No.
we are in a bear market so you WILL lose money If you don't know what you are doing.
Demo account might not work. But start small. Start with $100 or something.
i would say you should buy some crypto while its cheap, even if it is a small amount, if the price drops more buy more, dollar cost average your starting funds. It will also get you a bit more familiar with crypto. if you have something and the bull run starts you can have a bigger starting stack.
I would say that margin or shorting (bitmex) are gambling unless you are dong it to hedge. if you own the coin its your to keep, if the bitmex trade goes south you risk losing it.
Personally i don't like to leave more than i am willing to lose on exchanges, ppl used to say 'be your own bank', kind of difficult if you rely on a site...
research tether if you are going to be leaving your funds in that over night...if that shit pops it will be like bitconnect ****TIMES A MILLION****
best of luck
I started with $200 late jan, just before the crash and right now I have 600. Basically throwing into pump and dumps like BAT and ZRX today (went 50/50 just at the start of the pump and got out $80). Patience is key. Will you make 50 a day? Hell fucking no, at least not in this market or if you are a really good trader. Overall not worth it, but its fun and I might learn few things for when the bull run happens.
Also im abusing tether since 10k BTC
Why does everyone say you'll lose money day trading.
Surely the odds are 50/50?
You can't get bogged on demo accounts
Also your order influences the market especially if you start using big amounts
I make 300 a day with a 10k position
More like 90/10
you are mean bad in as badass right?
can I be a everyotherday trader? or do I need to do this daily
If you're talking about bitmex testnet, it's easily manipulated. You can get a ton of testnet btc. Not worth it, unless you're just trying to figure out the UI.
Day trading just means you close your position at the end of day
Even amounts of like 10% daily is totally achievable, even in this market
Explain?
testnet.bitmex.com
>register
>google "testnet bitcoin faucet"
>transfer to your account BTC address
>trade without investing your money

Only real money and time tested failures will make you a long term success
No, because you won't get the feeling of getting JUSTed by a dildo designed just to liquidate you every time.
On average only 10% of traders make money
Fees (it's not zero sum) and incompetence
nice dubs
t. successful arbitrage trader that no longer trades
The split isn't 50/50 winners/losers. There are only a few winners taking LODS of EMONE from lots of losers.
Pls don't post this apu again. It is bad. Thanks.
yeah as much as i hate these faggots they're right op.
lets say you start with $500, you could achieve 20% month on 25X leverage. you will obviously not bet all of your $500, probably like only 1/4 of your stack on every trade. so 125X25 = $3125 now let say you made 20% after fees etc... its 1/5 of 3.125k so $625, congrats op you just X5 your position and X2,25 your initial investment (you will have more btc but less money if btc price go down as whole, more btc and more money if btc goes up(assuming youre shorting btc or longing btc with btc))
I made 2000eur of an initial investment of 2 euro on XVG. Then took 1000 profit and just daily traded it while it was going sideways and made about 50 euro in 2 or 3 trades. It was so easy that I ended up getting out because it felt like I was being groomed by bots so they could pull a juicy reversal. I made another 1000 off that original 1000. I would say if you want to learn, then have a decent chunk but be ready to lose it.
This, you either win or you don't.
it´s too complex to understand
