George Soros will likely try to short btc to the ground (and since futures are cash settled, that means he can buy a """small""", direct btc position, while making a large cash-settled future bet, and then proceed to reflectivity.exe the crypto market.)
At the same time, an institutional investor such as George Soros, signalling loud and clear that he will enter the market will likely lead to others doing the same. And regardless of whether these assholes are "long" or "short" the fact remains clear: in the short term they will have to invest their capital (and thus raise the price of btc) in order to play in the market and looking at things more long term: cryptocurrencies will be bullish due to their censorship border-less nature.
if something like Request succeeds at having an easily accessible fiat pairing for every coin out there Bitcoin won't matter anymore Soros is probably aware of that but who knows

>buys bitcoin for billiions >crashes the market with shorts and selloffs >"hehe goyim i told you it was a scam all along"
Ryder Bailey
He'll burn through crypto for a quick buck like he does with everything else he touches. If he's ruined entire countries before, crypto probably doesn't stand much better of a chance.
Julian Sanders
theory a: traditional markets collapse due to trade wars, debt bubble popping and soros already balls deep in crypto. media is just confirming that he is in already. normies will flock into crypto soon once all institutional money flows in.
theory b. he pumps crypto to the moon, once normies flock and think they never have to work a day again, he pulls the plug.
You're absolutely retarded here guy. Nobody gives an absolute shit about your ass coin. This is about the crypto market as a whole. Everything (((Sorros))) touches becomes a shit show. This is not good for us if he does to crypto what he did to the currencies he shorted.
Camden Williams
Why do you niglets talk about this as if it's Soros himself who sits on the computer in his underwear clicking away? And why do you utter complete morons think rich people would crash the value of something? Do you know why they don't? Because they realize that the only thing scaring away everyone does is making nobody buy anything. Good job, you have all the bitcoin in the world. Shame nobody wants to buy.
Aaron Richardson
OP was literally only talking about Bitcoin also if anybody wants this market to not be a joke it has to be looked at as more than Bitcoin
Carson Mitchell
Not sure what his game is, I wouldn't say he's going to short it immediatly to shit although thats a very good possibility. From what I read in the news article he said that BTC would always be favorable with corrupt governments to ''offshore'' money, so obviously the devil figured that buying BTC at certain time points can work out very favorably since there is always a demand for cryptocurrencies like BTC or Monero w/e. Meanwhile he probably thinks its a bubble and wants to short our dreams.
David Rodriguez
I think you're wrong.
Soros is not a major short seller. I think he has sensed the bottom and wants speculative gains.
