George Soros will likely try to short btc to the ground (and since futures are cash settled, that means he can buy a """small""", direct btc position, while making a large cash-settled future bet, and then proceed to reflectivity.exe the crypto market.)
At the same time, an institutional investor such as George Soros, signalling loud and clear that he will enter the market will likely lead to others doing the same. And regardless of whether these assholes are "long" or "short" the fact remains clear: in the short term they will have to invest their capital (and thus raise the price of btc) in order to play in the market and looking at things more long term: cryptocurrencies will be bullish due to their censorship border-less nature.
if something like Request succeeds at having an easily accessible fiat pairing for every coin out there Bitcoin won't matter anymore Soros is probably aware of that but who knows
Jace Roberts
>buys bitcoin for billiions >crashes the market with shorts and selloffs >"hehe goyim i told you it was a scam all along"
Ryder Bailey
He'll burn through crypto for a quick buck like he does with everything else he touches. If he's ruined entire countries before, crypto probably doesn't stand much better of a chance.
Julian Sanders
theory a: traditional markets collapse due to trade wars, debt bubble popping and soros already balls deep in crypto. media is just confirming that he is in already. normies will flock into crypto soon once all institutional money flows in.
theory b. he pumps crypto to the moon, once normies flock and think they never have to work a day again, he pulls the plug.
You're absolutely retarded here guy. Nobody gives an absolute shit about your ass coin. This is about the crypto market as a whole. Everything (((Sorros))) touches becomes a shit show. This is not good for us if he does to crypto what he did to the currencies he shorted.
Camden Williams
Why do you niglets talk about this as if it's Soros himself who sits on the computer in his underwear clicking away? And why do you utter complete morons think rich people would crash the value of something? Do you know why they don't? Because they realize that the only thing scaring away everyone does is making nobody buy anything. Good job, you have all the bitcoin in the world. Shame nobody wants to buy.
Aaron Richardson
OP was literally only talking about Bitcoin also if anybody wants this market to not be a joke it has to be looked at as more than Bitcoin
Carson Mitchell
Not sure what his game is, I wouldn't say he's going to short it immediatly to shit although thats a very good possibility. From what I read in the news article he said that BTC would always be favorable with corrupt governments to ''offshore'' money, so obviously the devil figured that buying BTC at certain time points can work out very favorably since there is always a demand for cryptocurrencies like BTC or Monero w/e. Meanwhile he probably thinks its a bubble and wants to short our dreams.
David Rodriguez
I think you're wrong.
Soros is not a major short seller. I think he has sensed the bottom and wants speculative gains.
Noah King
Ok Jow Forums i'm going to break it down for you
The reason we went to 6k and 6.5k from ATH was because this faggot and his trading group were doing their usual tricks from the shadows and in complete secret
Them being open about it isn't the warning of the crash, it's the mark of the reversal, expect soon enough massive big media promoting crypto
Ryan Ortiz
it's going up for now for sure. soros will crash it from 300k to 30k lol.
Wyatt Perez
Yea btc will pump 1 more time then btfo all bag holders
Hudson Cook
I think you could be right. He famously said "If want to buy $300 million of bonds, so start by selling $50 million. I want to see what the market feels like first."
Jack Bennett
I actually agree with theory b . Soros won't and can't short btc without first propping up the price from the price slippage of a big player like him entering the market*. With that said, other big players that will follow Soros lead will have to equally buy into the market if they want to eventually short it as well. Further raising the price.
For me, this is bullish, as Soros will add legitimacy to the market. I really don't like the fact that he has gotten in this "early" but it is what it is. *technically he could if he uses otc trading but I have no idea how available is the infrastructure for that sort of buy.
Jackson Morales
>George Soros will likely try to short btc to the ground
proof or fuck off
Angel Brooks
he wanted to feel the pink wojaks?
Jack Perry
If he takes a short position, BTC crashes, we buy the dip. After hes done shorting it he will go long, we get rich. Best news ever.
Xavier Carter
>implying he'll ever be done shorting
Robert Green
This faggot is a shorting legend. Read his bio br0.
Joshua Robinson
as much as i hate the jews and think insider jews are the deep root problem of many things, george soros is not buying or maniuplating btc
Jace Morris
Didn't this faggot lose a billion dollars shorting the stock market after the election? He's on a losing streak
is that really his wife? you'd think a billionaire could do better, so what if he's ancient and looks like a demonic handbag, money's money
Cameron Watson
It will be over sooner at least. Either this will accelerate the collapse, or start to reverse the downtrend.
Nicholas Evans
So you guys know Soros will destroy the market. Why are you still in crypto? Don't you believe in your own fear mongering? Hell seeing you just know he's gonna actively destroy, why not jump into shorts?
Thomas Stewart
Why would he even pump BTC, ironically he can make more pumping LINK from 0,7 to 1000 USD. He shoerted british pound. This faggot goes after the strongest beast and kills it like a tropky. Gives a lot of dopamine. Man who killed british pound, now he wants to enter the history as the one who rekt BTC.
Zachary Ortiz
this, one thing is for sure and that's the market is gonna see big movement one way or the other. which is good because sideways makes me more depressed than crashing
Caleb Hernandez
this
Nolan Howard
I thought this was just some fake news, but holy shit this fucking devil is actually going to enter the market? Only a matter of time until we see another bull run.
P.S fucking take profit this time anons. Just take some profit.
Ian Hernandez
He probably shorted from January, but is now announcing his presence in crypto markets.
William James
just a reminder, he has a HUGE position in overstock. he probably bought into BTC around that time.
Aiden Bell
Different game though. How can he "ruin" it? Shake out the pajeets endlessly? Cool, holders just keep buying the dips. The price floor just creeps higher. Anyone in this to the endgame isn't selling - especially not below 6k.
Austin Barnes
>George Soros will likely try to short btc to the ground Nah. He would have shorted it in January. Unlike Jow Forums, he's a smart man.
Brody Perry
These are the anons that get it. When are you 19k bag-holders going to realize that by the time you read something in the news, it's already too late.
You're expecting Soros to short the market NOW? You're expecting a giant crash NOW? So you think it's all a coincidence that we've already seen a massive crypto crash these past few months and then Soros shows up out of nowhere?
He's been in since at least December and rode these coins all the way down. As usual, Jow Forums, you're too late by the time the story hits the mainstream news.
Ryan Hughes
He's already bought at this point. He made the announcement to attract some dumb money
Ryan King
>Everything (((Sorros))) touches becomes a shit show >The firm was founded in 1969 by George Soros[1] and in 2010 was reported to be one of the most profitable firms in the hedge fund industry,[2] averaging a 20% annual rate of return over four decades.
