3 days ago I was getting on a bus to Haifa. Before I got on, I went over to a food counter to buy some french fries. They were also selling pizza, bourekas, and other foods with bread in them. It's Passover now, and bread is forbidden. As I was buying the fries, this Hassid walks over and starts giving the clerk shit about how they're selling bread and his children have to witness this. This is just an example from daily life, but religion is taken very seriously here.
