No, I looked into EOS. It fails on prerequisites alone. It still is erc20 and has no network of its own. EOS can't even be in the discussion until it fixes that core issue. Even then, their dPOS algo hasn't been mathematically and scientifically proven to hold up concerning important areas as game theory and security while Cardano has already proven all of those important measures through peer review.
I will give credit though for his amazing work on steemit and bitshares. Those have proven to be a great social and exchange networks but the beast Dan is trying to tackle with his EOS project is way out of his league.

EOS has a working public test net, and devs and money and you have ugly charles that everyone hates and just a whitepaper.
Also when it launches it will be 40x slower then EOS, justify that. EOS launches in less then 2 months. ADA will be at the earliest out in December with less features and 20s blocks.
