Does every other person in your country also have some kind of """""mental disease""""" like depression, bipolar, and shit like that?
How do we put I stop to this?

Universal healthcare.
It seems like "anxiety" is a fashionable disease these days.
An American with a brain has arrived.

Die
Nearly every white female in the united States is diagnosed with anxiety and depression.
Nope, we don't have tumblrinas who self diagnose ptsd here
nope, everyone in India is a paragon of sound mental and physical health.
A lot of it has to do with changing demographics and black fragility.
we have that and everyone is still depressed
Hi taht's me, that's you and that's us
Lol it's all white people, mostly girls that do this. Niggers, even if they actually do have mental issues they won't admit it
>my anecdote is better than your source
Hmm I guess you aren't totally wrong
Only in the left
>(((psychiatry)))

Yeah, but the big meme seems to be PTSD now
>I was a paramedic for 3 months and I have PTSD forever now gib me monies
In every human population forever there is a certain percentage of mentally ill people. You can't put a stop to it because that's just a normal part of evolution: sometimes we get a mutation that is beneficial, other times we get mentally ill people. Even if you kill all of the mentally ill people, in a generation they will be back. Same shit with homosexuals, drug addicts, religious people, the list goes on.
No doubt, but I feel as if a very large percentage of these supposedly mentally ill people are the way they are because of the society we live in
Our culture is very depression-friendly, tbf. We romanticize it a ton, and see it as impolite to be outwardly happy next to other people in case they get sad.
Modern insect life is not humane, I agree. But! I think it is not the reason for insanity, it is just a very efficient catalyst.

Not even counting that.
The default answer to "how are you" is "mais ou menos" [more or less]. We're just fairly autistic and private people most of the time. Not Finish tier, but still more than you'd think for a southern country.
Saudade is a poetic sadness for loss, but you can probably tell more about us by why we chose that word to champion, and that's because we romanticise the quietness and introversion as an image in the first place.
Kill yourself normalscum.
>working with an american exchange student for a project
>"haha please be patient with me guys, I'm a depressive, ADHD, anxiety person that was diagnosed with autism a year ago"
Why do Americans all do this?
Haha! Finno-Ugrics once again rule the charts! Fin- well... shit
doctors and psychologists overdiagnosing everyone for shekels
Only if obliviousness counts as a disease.

One of the biggest reasons for this is our current climate of victim culture. We're so focused on finding how we are opressed in different ways and the privileges of others that we're actively searching for ways to feel opressed by the status quo, of course it's no mere coincidence that many of the diagnosed are also the largest and most vocal among the privilege-culture warriors such as the famous squirrelkin and the like. It's not the war vets ranting about their PTSD on tumblr.
They're undermining the actually mentally impaired, and "inflating the currency", and therefore I really feel for the people out there struggling with real issues.
The way out is to stop generalizing groups of people and focus on the individual plane. Life is suffering for everyone, everyone has to wade through shit, some have much less tools at their disposal, some get fucking shit luck, life is very unfair in the sense of where you're born and to whom decides alot, but absolutely not everything.
Everyone has to strive to become the best they can be, not a whining victim. If you're dealt a shit hand, suck it up and strive to improve. Nobody else will do that for you.
How much does a monthly dose of xanax cost where you at? Here it's like 4 euros for the 50mg version.
What do you mean by that
Please don't take those pills
I'm not taking them (I don't need to), I'm just interested at the price level for medicine in different countries.
interested *in

You don't understand. We have too many undesirables to make universal healthcare work out they'll just abuse the shit out of it.
>people think universal health care is affordable when most of your populace is obese and likes to shoot one another
Everyone knows not having public health care is retarded. I think it's even more retarded to let Americans have it.
universal healthcare is cheaper than abusive private healthcare maintenance-wise.
just make it very limited at the start and go from there, dont let every "undesirable" in
maybe make requirements like having a job or shit like that
Sorry it just can't work ever
>They're undermining the actually mentally impaired, and "inflating the currency", and therefore I really feel for the people out there struggling with real issues.
This user basically said it (atleast this is how it feels as a westerner). I think many people get confused between mental illness and a rough patch. In our country we have huge mental health campaigns at the moment where celebrities and such talk about there "battle with depression". While yes, it is OK to be sad, people need to realize this is not the same as being actually mentally ill. The idea of mental illness is becoming romanticized, but its because people envision it as the sad boi, not the reclusive binge drinking who shits himself on the daily.
This can also be seen in modern media aswell. 13 reasons why and other such shows tackling the issue often glamorize mental illness. The reality is most really mentally ill people are degenerates who look gross and do gross things. Its not glamorous.
whats worse are the edgequeens/kings who claim and embrace that they are totally nuts and psychos even though they are blunt normies. Is this a thing outside of the internet in your country?
I blame (((hollywood))) tbqh
Why are you guys so different from the rest of southern Europe on that point ? I don't get it is the weather more rainy on the Atlantic than Mediterranean sea which makes you more melancholic ? What is it ?
Both things you said are true and the main causes. It rains a fair bit more and the Atlantic is much harsher a sea. We're also fairly isolated from everyone else because of the mountains. We were once literally the edge of the world.
I've also seen people trying to link it to us being a region of fishermen since the beginning of time, so we've been conditioned with landscapes of grey and blue from where people may not come back. It was then also applied to the exploration ships, but it's much older than that.
It was supposedly also why we're a much more coesive/homogeneous nation, as fishermen all have to pull their weight and leave divisions aside when in violent seas for them all to come home, but I think that's pushing it too far.
