No. You don't think back in the 90's, there were also nostalgia fags who kept talking nonstop about how the 80's were better? Nostalgia fags exist in every generation, they're just people who refuse to grow up in the current culture they're in and prefer to be stuck in the past.
Juan Perez
Yeah, I was a child and my parents did everything for me.
Life is suffering.

80s sucked shit, 90s was subjectively pretty good, but objectively shit, 00s was pretty good, 10s have been kind of meh, but we still have 2 years left so fingers crossed eh
Leo Evans

Noah Rogers
Yes, and I'd give anything to wake up in 2004 tomorrow.

absolute pleb taste
the 80's were great tier. movies, music, fashion and culture was surging and developing at an unprecedented rate, people actually lived their lives out in the world.
the 90's echoed some of that greatness still, though the years of decay and decadence were already obvious. wild capitalism and consumerism start poisoning human relations
the 00's were okay-ish and completely unremarkable. the rapid spread of the internet, computers then later smartphones made normies flood the shitternet, ruining it for everyone else. (that's not to imply it was perfect before that)
the 10's are absolute dog shite. even the most extroverted people spend at least 60% of their time on their computers. for introverts that number goes up to 90% and above. every interaction people have is devoid of humanity.
the world is ripe for its destruction.
Luis Young
Yes, and I was an adult throughout the 2000s.
William Reyes
There is no difference between the two besides technological advancements. Culturally the two might as well be the same decade. The 90s were the last decade thusfar that was somehow different from today.
2000s=2010s.
Isaiah Lewis
2000s worst decade.
70s > 10s > 90s > 80s > 2000s
this but unironically
Ryder Green
so your perspective of things is that of a turbo autist hipster faggot. yeah, i'm the pleb here
Luis Ramirez
80s were the best decade for music. Everything was rock and metal. No one took nigger-hop seriously.
90s sucked as far as music was concerned, nothing but grunge and alternative shit and it's when nigger hop became popular.
2000s-today is an absolute shitfest.
Bentley Perry

For me, at least, it was. In general though -- there is no general.
Joseph Gomez
you're the one who's hipster trash. who the hell puts the fucking 00's above the 80's?
>he forgot about the rise of eurodance and bubblegum dance in the 90's
do you even cotton eye joe or go boom boom boom?

name 5 things memorable from the 00's besides zebra highlights and platform shoes
Elijah Edwards
in 2000 we still had no internet here. even a pc we had only one.
Jack Nguyen
>eurodance and bubblegum dance in the 90's
Pretty fucking gay. 80s were better by a mile.
Hunter Hernandez
>who the hell puts the fucking 00's above the 80's
80s was objectively the shittiest period in music during the last century so every comparison is going to be insert what ever decade > 80s. and the only people who like 80s music are hipster trash because they are just too hyper-ironic about everything including "music"

I specifically mentioned fashion and movies too,so even if 80's music aren't your cup of tea, there are other things that made the decade great. also the 1920's were an absolute shit show, and nothing tops that.
>IRC
ehh. should've said chatrooms, but okay
>underground art
such as?
>piracy
all right I give you that
>being able to grep for exploits
what
>programming actually being fun
that's pretty subjective. if you ask me programming had never been fun and never will be.
Levi Price
ok. i'll give you that. i do have some movies from 80s that i like. but my general opinion about movies from that period is: cringy shit
and fashion... oh god user your inner hipster is trying too hard to get out. that was the most awful shit i can imagine
Joshua Robinson
you want me to throw you another bone to break? 80s haircuts. yeah. try one. it'll be fun
Samuel Jenkins
>80s was objectively the shittiest period in music
As an oldfag I agree.
Pop was too happy and gay.
Rock was dying of whiny ballads.
Rap was a mix of either too cheesy or too niggerish.
Fashion and hair was abysmal.
The only part of the 80s I liked was the tech side, the emergence of personal computers and video games.
Lucas Russell
>and fashion... oh god user your inner hipster is trying too hard to get out. that was the most awful shit i can imagine
>you want me to throw you another bone to break? 80s haircuts. yeah. try one. it'll be fun
I know right! It was awful. But that's why it was so great, people truly didn't give a shit. It's like everyone collectively threw themselves down in the hair dresser's chair and were like: just fuck my shit up senpai.
Compared to the other decades trying so damned hard, the 80's are refreshing, with their honesty and light hearted attitude. Not to mention with their garish, bright, mismatched clothes and poofy hair they kinda looked more like clowns than people. it's fun.
Benjamin Hughes

Yes
Thomas Ramirez
punk? i kind of feel for those guys. they were musically shit tier, but the emotion was good.
>It was awful. But that's why it was so great
you're continuing the hipster routine. just grow up already
Anthony Ramirez
for you
Joshua Rivera
2004/2005/2006 were the only best years since the start of this century
Logan Clark

Hudson Robinson
Of course
