>norway and sweden
Are they retarded?
They are not learning Spanish to talk with Al Andaluz sandniggers, its because of LOS
>Romania
>Cyprus
That doesn't make sense
Probably for vacation purposes
>Romania
Why? Romanian is very similar to French so it's just the easiest language for them to learn, also quite useful if they want to work in France.
what's wrong with learning spanish?
Romanians arent workling they are just beggars
fake map
>Russian
OH NO NO NO NO AHAHAHAHA
that's gypsies
>Finlan
jej
We are part of the Francophonie and stole a ton of elements of French culture in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
We have to learn a third (the second being English) language in school. Most schools only offer German, French and Spanish.
>Romanian is very similar to French
What's wrong?
Romanians are huge Frenchboos. As for Cyprus I guess apart from English they don't need anything else really, and that they don't want to learn t*Rkish.
where the fuck do those numbers from? they are nothing like the numbers from the actualy eurostat page (and those numbers surely don't change that much in just 1 year)
It's sort of considered the most "cool" language. At least in my school it was.
French were for fags, German were for the weirdos(coincidentally also what I chose to learn), Spanish were for the chads and normals.
See why we want to split from Wallonia? Fuck French cunts.
ah, now I see, they are from here ec.europa.eu
Not so sure about the Netherlands though
what's the difference
>Romanians are huge Frenchboos.
Nah, used to be the case pre ww2, but not anymore.
>99% learning english
>spain
what the fuck
here the chads chose german
didnt get to choose french lmao
spanish were for nerds or something i dont know?
pronunciation wise, it's a super easy option for them.
A lot of Swedes and Norwegians like to spend the winter months in places like Costa del Sol. We have a lot of mini colonies there.
In Bosnia they start teaching children English in the 1st grade and then add German in 5th.
>It's sort of considered the most "cool" language. At least in my school it was.
Not really. It's just the nicest one for vacation purposes.
>French were for fags
but girls everywhere love French so why care
meanwhile we're having a public debate over whether english should be even taught after a couple of grades because everyone is exposed to the language already before school and reach native speaker level by 6th/7th grade. we're considering teaching german as a third foreign language alongside russian from grade 5 so people would get a sufficient proficiency level in more languages than just 4 by grade 12
Delete this please
French, German, Spanish. Don't know about Chinese
Absolutely shameful
I wish I was born anywhere but this god forsaken cuckhole
German is by far the easiest pronunciation wise.
Do Canadian Anglos learn French at school?
>reach native speaker level by 6th/7th grade
you wish
Wired. Only like 10 people in my grade actually choose German, and all of us were kinda weird, or had German roots. Whereas the Spanish class had like 50+ students. Not really sure about the French class, they kinda kept to themselves.
Well yeah. Vacationing in Spain was like the big thing everyone wanted to do and was talking about, especially the girls. France was never really on anyone's lips, and German was just seen as begin kinda silly.
Well, fags and the loner class nobody mingled with. Our grade was split into I think 3 classes all based on what language we choose. French in one class and nobody really liked them all that much, Spanish in one, Spanish-German in another.
a certain neighboring country to the west perhaps?
i'm not joking. kids these days take either IELTS/TOEFL depending on school and they ace the fucking tests. me, being an oldfag reached native level by grade 9 and that was a long time ago
> 92% of Finland speaks Swedish
AHAHAHAAAA
swedish cocsuckers
""studies""
To be fair, it's not like people actually remember any of their grade school language classes other than English.
so you're basically forced to study swedish, but the average jonne spits on that shit and rides scooter instead, knowing only rudimentary swedish when he finishes secondary education?
Perfetto
What can I say. You lose by default when you born in this shithole with no history or relevance whatsoever.
Be glad that you got lucky, appreciate your Swedishness.
Brainlet. I bet you are a parigot.
Our parents would use it to talk "behind our backs" while being right in front of us when we were kids. Also, it comes in handy when talking to the Russians here and it's a very nice language.
My only regret is that I didn't take it seriously in school. I could have been fluent by now.
exactly
Sure but the thing is we're still forced to learn it and our cuck politicians suck the dick of mere historic remnants, which is to say the least shameful. Not like they know how we suffer because of it either.
I just want live in a independent country, that's all I'm asking. No greater Finland, no Karelia, just independent country with one people and one language.
You need to go back Sven
>how we suffer because of it
I'm sure those mandatory swedish are pure suffering, Viljami. Kust try to keep upand I'm sure you'll make it through school.
It's literally the same for us except instead of Swedish it's German or French.
>92%
Fucking 2% of those actually LEARN swedish. That is all the cucks on the south and west coast.
Good thing the age of pakkoruotsi ends soon.
I doubt you know what "native" really means
don't worry. we have sames with russian. the national education system thinks it is necessary, but people go from grade 5 to grade 12 and can't speak any russian for shit. in fact, here's a little story
when we were in i think 6th or 7th grade we revolted against the teacher, bullying him enough to quit his job because we didn't want to learn that orc language. of course we all got to spend some time with the principal, but the sentiment stayed. no one learned russian because of spite. all the russian teachers were treated like dirt by students
>No greater Finland, no Karelia
Well, I have an urge to get an open access to Barents Sea and to Lake Ladoga. At least those we got to have.
You are Swedes by another name, get over it.
enlighten me oh wise polish intellectual!!! because when we take the test we are graded with levels. those who get the highest level are called natives. do you have some insights the english teachers here do not?
Oh wow, you must have been some really annoying little shits. I feel bad for the teachers.
Self hate is allways sexy.
>the national education system thinks it is necessary
The difference is that Sweden isn't going to invade Finland, if they get rid of mandatory Swedish education.
In some provinces, in Ontario for sure
>those who get the highest level are called natives.
yeah, I want to see how "everyone" in Estonia, including Ivans from Narva, passes IELTS with the highest grade when he's 18 or so
a certain compulsory subject?
It says "learning", not "learning properly".
i didn't say everyone. you're using an unnecessary convolution of speech to undermine my point. i was speaking of young people who are entering school right now, not a couple of decades ago. we all, estonians and russians equally, have way too much english exposure prior to elementary school so young kids already know the language before going to school and since exposure continues at a steady rate they do not need further education after grade 7 (let's say). so the discussion here is about how to optimize the education cycle so young students could acquire an additional language instead of wasting tax payer money on what they already know. makes sense? no?
>i didn't say everyone
Yes you did:
>because everyone is exposed to the language already before school and reach native speaker level by 6th/7th grade
also, I see to many Estonians on the internet to believe it, their English is usually good, but definitely not native
> i was speaking of young people who are entering school right now
do poles learn to read, ever?
Honhon is a retarded language, and France is full of niggers. Spain is at least sunny.
so if they are entering school "right now", how do you know they will pass IELTS with such good grades? anyway, I doubt they will ever reach the native level, even Finns rarely do it
because it's being done right now with 6th and 7th graders. the students speak better english than their teachers, unless they have a teacher who is from the anglosphere, which is not uncommon anymore. it's only going to progress. that's the reason we're having a public debate over the issue here.
>even Finns
finns are epic shit at english so that's a low blow towards us. really user, you should tell me more about my country
Based, we should actually do it, would eliminate the butthurt we have for each other too.
wow, Estonia strong, first you spoke native Russian, now you speak native English. Sad, that no one remembers about Estonian
i don't understand you user. i'm just describing the situation we have going on here, yet you somehow manage to put too many fingers in your own anus causing a lot of hurt. wash your keyboard after you're done being angry at it.
Pangermanic reich when?
more like you boast about your nation's language skills even though it's bullshit, but whatever, believe what you want
Spain is so you can order una cerveza por favor senor when you go to vacation in espana
try not to explode of all that internal combustion alri?
Does swedish really count since it's an official language here?
Makes you proud :)
French is useless
also:
>boast about your nation's language skills
did you not read that part where i said we learn russian for 8 years and none of the young people really speak it?
They "learn" it aka watch some French movie in French class because the teacher doesnt even speak French. Most Anglo Canadians could probably only mumble some shit like introducing themselves and saying "J'aime le France oui oui".
Meanwhile Québécois are cucked in being bilingual and are actually proud of it kek.
heritage of the late XIXth/early XXth centuries when eastern europeans were turbo frenchaboos
Mej också :)))
*star spangled banner starts playing in the distance*
This. If the education system is deficient and there's a big difference between both languages plus other factors, the fact of 99% of children learning is irrelevant.
At least you try to learn our language unlike the Brits.
>proud of it
[citation needed]
You already speak a french dialect, anyway
ENOUGH!
Of course they are
I would love to learn Polish, Danish or Czech if we had the opportunity desu
