How is everyone else's day? What are the plans for the coming night?

Play a VN desu.

Throwing myself at people, notably women
And you?

visited dublin and galway and had a very nice time. Your old timers are great to chat with in bars, and Galway was comfy as fuck. You told me your public transport was shit, but the bus arrived on time and got us across the country in 3 hours

thanks, lads

Think I want to get back into multiplayer FPS games. Do people still play PUBG? Rising Storm 2? Overwatch perhaps?

Attached: 1523017088146.png (483x487, 201K)

>Overwatch
Would take me a while to get back into it, but I suppose people still play that
>Rising Storm 2
A fair amount of people still play that as well

Do you already own those games or are you looking for something new?

I already have PUBG and RS2, I played a bit of Overwatch back when it was in open beta but never actually bought it, I might consider it though.

>Tell us about yours
Pretty good. Week has progressively gotten better after starting off quite poorly.
>first
Doesn't seem fair desu. You're always the one asking people how they are.
>And you
VN.

>Do people still play...
Yes. Overwatch and PUBG have larger populations, as you may imagine.

Can anyone stop Dublin?

They seem like a foregone conclusion for Sam again this year. If they do 5 in a row split it in 2 or 4 I say.

Attached: _.jpg (1229x1160, 59K)

Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself.

>Do people still play PUBG?
Isn't it still one of the most popular online games at the moment? Fortnite is stolen some of its playerbase in recent months though.

>Overwatch perhaps?
Apparently it is in a state of minor crisis at the moment due to some recent unpopular updates. I've never understood the long-term appeal of that game anyway.

>Can anyone stop Dublin?
Unless the Mayo curse lifts, no. Who else can even come close in the Championship?

>Week has progressively gotten better after starting off quite poorly.
Great to hear
>You're always the one asking people how they are.
I'm fine, made good use of the good weather by working in the garden so that the new tenants can move in soon
>VN.
Which one?
I'm sure Limerick will do fine with a bit of foreign investment

Attached: rbe.jpg (236x332, 28K)

>by working in the garden so that the new tenants can move in soon
People live in other people's gardens in Luxembourg?

No, but houses have gardens that have to be in good condition to attract people

Mayo have started terribly and barely survived in division 1

Kerry seem the only half chance

Mayo almost always do shit in the League though. I don't consider it to be a reliable indicator of their strength going into the Championship.

As for Kerry, I really can't see them competing at Dublin's level.

love soy love anime

Where's good to eat in Galway? I'm talking night out and looking for a proper meal

Don't mean to be rude, but do you post in /éire/ all the time? There's generally not many Luxembourg flags floating about but I always see one here

I think I remember this being the one that was in really bad broken English too, though I may be thinking of something else.

>that much white space
The 8 values one is better.

It doesn't give you a cool flag, though.

Neutral on a lot of aspects, friend?

>Isn't it still one of the most popular online games at the moment
Yes, but there is a sort of natural perception on the internet that if it isn't the thing everyone is talking about then it must be dead.
>I've never understood the long-term appeal of that game anyway
Have fun and get skins, same as most other games? Has WoT led you to believe that spending time in a game is pointless unless you're grinding to unlock something?
Not that I totally disagree, we all like unlocking things and levelling up etc.

>Which one?
Tsukihime. I'm actually enjoying it so far, despite the fact I thought it would be a bit of a slog due to being so old.
Not the biggest fan of old things, as you may be aware.
You played any VNs?

Attached: 1509514507234.jpg (569x1000, 63K)

You got a nice flag.

>Have fun and get skins, same as most other games?
Loot boxes are shit and not a real progression system.

>Has WoT led you to believe that spending time in a game is pointless unless you're grinding to unlock something?
I felt that way long before WoT. WoT just solidified that belief.

Attached: 1496649332034.png (706x1400, 421K)

>not a real progression system
I don't think progression systems are necessary for a good game. The likes of Overwatch, Dota, LoL and CS are arguably the biggest games in the world and have next to no progression outside of loot boxes.
There are arguments for and against progression systems, one against being they can sometimes make it more difficult for new players to join the game, which is often counteracted by people saying the lower tiers of EVE ships and WoT tanks(?) are just as fun, if not more fun than high tier ones.
I think it's a preference thing and you aren't a fan of games lacking such a system, which is fine, but others think the opposite and that is fine too.
You diggy me, Shiggy?

Attached: 1499445340676.png (961x1118, 847K)

>You played any VNs?
Not really my thing I'm afraid
What do you like so much about them?
>CS are arguably the biggest games in the world and have next to no progression outside of loot boxes.
Pretty sure you can count ranks as progression, which is what kept me interested for the most part
>and WoT tanks(?) are just as fun
Not true

>which is often counteracted by people saying the lower tiers of EVE ships and WoT tanks(?) are just as fun, if not more fun than high tier ones.
I don't think anybody actually claims that for either of those games.

>You diggy me, Shiggy?
I does - it's all personal preference. I just have zero interest in progression systems that revolve around loot boxes unless the gameplay is so addictive that it sustains my enjoyment regardless.

>being a unionist sympathiser
Back to /brit/ you go, lad

Attached: 1493570072714.png (901x500, 79K)

>Pretty sure you can count ranks as progression
That's somewhat true, I suppose. You also have the competitive rankings, which is what a lot of people focus on.
In that case the rest of those, including Overwatch, have a form of progression.

>I don't think anybody actually claims that for either of those games
You're an EVE expert desu? I was unaware. I've known people that have played it for years and a lot of them say that.
Is the best fun in WoT to be found in the high tiers?
>unless the gameplay is so addictive that it sustains my enjoyment
Well that's kind of the reason you are meant to play games, because they are fun? The progression piece is sort of secondary to the whole thing.
May be a deeper issue in gamer culture if we are all playing for unlocks and progression rather than the gameplay being fun.
I might be contradicting myself though, because I used to like WoW somewhat and that is all about grinding and progression, in a way. I'll need to think about it further.
To sum up, play whatever you all want.

Attached: 1508097418583.jpg (737x1039, 74K)

>You're an EVE expert desu?
No, just basing my opinion on what I've read elsewhere.

>Is the best fun in WoT to be found in the high tiers?
6-8 are best in my opinion.

>Well that's kind of the reason you are meant to play games, because they are fun? The progression piece is sort of secondary to the whole thing.
The best multiplayer games are enjoyable and have great progression systems (in terms of unlocks and leveling up).

Phoneposter master race.

>What do you like so much about them?
Like anime, I may have initially gotten into them for the aesthetics and lewds.
I just find them a good way to spend the time though. Like a sort of more visual book that still has plenty of depth and a degree of user interaction and choice. Plus there is also some communities around them if you into that and a good number of animes are based on them, so you can act like a smug originalfag.
Interactive books for the those who value visuals and anime aesthetics, I guess in summary?

I thought you liked progression desu?
Are you jealous that I have transcended the realm of mere stationary computing devices?

No, I'm just disappointed.

I don’t smoke but I’m considering starting vaping.

Why?

this flag looks a bit gay

Attached: memetool.png (652x868, 166K)

I like the feeling of smoking or vaping, especially while drunk. Nicotine increases cognitive abilities, and there’s no negative health effects of vaping

meant for this one

most of the lefties are limerick/mayo based lad

>Things I wanted that came true:
Smoking in pulic banned except for a choice few smoking areas
Homosexuality legalized
Birth control freely sold
Catholic church ousted from government and having no control over the people at all anymore
Gay marriage
More immigrants (preparing for ireland 2040)
Ireland becoming richer and more modern
Hoping women's equality is next lads! Overjoyed the closer Ireland is to becoming a proper country

>Nicotine increases cognitive abilities
Not this shit again.

most of the lefties are jaggy samefagging

Depression.
Sleep.

It’s true, I would link you some studies but it’s very easy to google it.

>jaggy
Literally who.

Jaggy is an illustrious personality on the left of the political spectrum, was born a female though identifies as gender fluid.

Too many newfags.

Nope, I would hardly post it since this country has always been dragging behind the modern world in every aspect. I'm glad that we're starting to trundle forward and being ahead of most countries in some aspects is p. good desu. I'm glad the general is decent today.

>what is a fada

>proper country
>doesn't even speak its own language

yes modernity is great, can't wait for everybody to be dadless depressives who just live to work

Huh...
bet you don't even contribute to GDP

It is a bit stark how much we've progressed compared to the UK in a short period of time, around 15 years ago we were considered the conservative backwards island and roles are totally reversed now.

>Huh...
No doubt about where you've wandered in from.

What did you lads think about the INM scandal?

Attached: 1523038251389.png (640x480, 270K)

the what?

Independent news and media. The harvesting of journalists private data relating to tribunals for the interests of our beloved media baron in Malta.

Oh. Well the guilty actors will surely be punished accordingly. lol.

>lol.

Attached: 1494053425998.jpg (258x397, 54K)

*lol

"lol" indeed since the harvesting deliberately took place outside of the jurisdiction and by proxies who deny all association with Denis.

any proletariat men in?

any hammer man in
i'm a sickle btw :3

go away u gay

Every now and again, such as when the news was shilling irish facebook I wonder if Irish survived or revived and became the main language everyone knew inside out by a miracle how would as gaeilge evolve and what slang and the like would be spoke...

There's about 400 years of development of the language that was robbed from it.

>the arrest of King Knacker is the main headline on the news
Well at least Brian O'Donovan seems to be having fun reporting on it.

Attached: 1515354855201.png (936x719, 456K)

It's a shame to be sure, what could have been.

maybe some point in the far future everyone here might speak it as their language.

It's funny to see the media discuss the possibility of this being the "final straw" for McGregor or acting like this has in any way disgraced him.
As if the UFC sort of audience wouldn't celebrate him for acting like a street thug, he's probably an even bigger hero in their eyes now.

Has Michael D. Higgins actually announced that he's seeking a second Presidential term yet?

Attached: 1517219011954.jpg (580x800, 88K)

The UFC organisation might not let him back in.

Not by the sounds of the report there. At least with Miriam confirmed out we're pretty much guaranteed to have an actual politician.

Attached: 1455687843327.jpg (1500x1100, 423K)

>As if the UFC sort of audience wouldn't celebrate him for acting like a street thug, he's probably an even bigger hero in their eyes now.
I'm just having a laugh at all those "It's only an act" UFC bandwagoners who used to defend his knackerish behaviour in the past. I hope this is an eye-opener for them.

But as you said, the hardcore UFC fans will probably be delighted to see him acting like this.

Attached: 1520351196148.jpg (549x708, 193K)

Has he even fought since the Mayweather fight? It sounded like he's essentially retired now.

He said he'd declare his intentions in July. Not really a fan of the self-interest he's showing to wait it out to see what the campaign climate might be like.
