Prefer dictatorship over that.

why do whypipo make mean comments about india constantly

they are trying their best

india is the biggest democracy in the world and open defecation is far less now than it has been 10 years ago

Japanese democracy is pretty weird, in that it's effectively a one party state

It's not really a problem though, because that party is quite level headed and fairly moderate... at least until recent times when abe and co have been doing some pretty dumb shit with the far right

your preferences don't mean it's NOT democratic tho.
parliamentary democracy is way better than that shit you have

>Japan
>a democracy
Shut the fuck up you virgin weeb
India is the most democracy in Asia hence why its a complete and literal shithole.

He's partly right. India is a highly nepotistic and corrupt country. The only reason it hasn't split apart into various countries is because of its federalist system.

actually true desu
"democracy" in third world countries just means who can vote-bank the largest amount of people

Nah, without democracy India would be worse off than Pakistan

India is far more democratic than most third world, and even done first world countries tho
just because the bureaucracy is corrupt and nepotistic (like all other third and second world countries) doesn't mean we have a multiple party system, free and fair elections whose outcome is accepted by all parties, and one person one vote, which itself makes is better then half the world, not to mention a very powerful election commission, unrestricted media, and greater political choice than anywhere else in the world ( how many countries do you know where a marxost-leninist communist party runs in the elections, with alt-right and ancap parties too, and religious leaders run alongside tea-servers?
India might not be up to the mark in most sis, but our political system is one of the best in the region

...if you read what I posted you would see that I clearly said it's a one party state

it's not really a democracy in anything but name - this is clear from many of their policies, such as the estate tax upwards of 60% which has been receiving quite a bit of

India is most definitely a democratic country, for everything that entails, corruption and all

many of the problems French is talking about in that video happened here in the US as well - think of Al Capone's Cell in the 20th century

he is, of course, right that democracy is only for the rich in India - but even still, voter participation is MUCH higher in India than it is in the USA

Much of India's democratic success comes from its federalist system, which allowed the southern and western states to do well. But the central govt has always been dogshit.

>but even still, voter participation is MUCH higher in India than it is in the USA
because they often offer free booze or food during elections.
