south shitalians, Greeks, poor turks, poor africans

Americans are the friendliest people I have ever met. The worst are Parisians.

g*rmanoids are scum of the earth

Friendliest: Denmark, Austria
Unfriendliest: Switzerland (very cocky, rightfully so), Poland (not in a rude way but most seemed depressed/detached from the world)

Evsry austrian I have met has been very friendly. I don't know where the reputation that they are miserable bastards comes from

Read Bernhard

Because I have worked in tourism. No other country had more self entitled tourists than the US. Went from being very nice to becoming extremely self entitled and demanding as soon as something didn't go their way no matter if the situation was something within my control or not (most often it was not something I could control). As long as everything goes exactly as they wanted they stayed very nice however.

Depends on the region they are from. Vienna is full of cocky assholes.

Tbh I haven't been to Vienna. Just from my experiences skiing there and from Austrian tourists

I can confirm this. I’m glad my nightmare here will be over in a month.

Americans, depending on region, do value being friendly but I can recall many times seeing the seemingly reasonable people turn into pic related.

please tell me about your bad experiences with the french

Friendliest
>Poland
They didn't know my nationality and still, they were awesome people

I didn't have any bad experiences except for some baguette and snail eating French who sabotaged every communication attempt I tried to establish. They understood what I wanted and still responded in pigspeak. Goddammit. Still, I wouldn't call that unfriendliness.

It was more a meme answer tbqh. In my teens I were a lot on the french riviera and people were just generally very rude. I was quite the brat back then however and probably had it coming.

>Friendliest
Poland, Croatia, Sweden, NL

>Unfriendliest
Germans, Frenchies

Where do you study?

>what happened
In summary: having to deal with unfriendly, cold and unsympathetic people on a daily basis for 8 years. In these years I haven’t made a single german friend, only other fellow foreigner students, you guys are unbearable. I got memed into studying engineering here and fucking regret it every single day, but I’m soon to finish my masters here.

i see, that's reassuring

>False friendliness? The US

We're the masters of this.

KIT

I bet we could have been pretty cool friends.
Shame that we didn't meet.

> I haven’t made a single german friend
What did you try to make friends here?
There are extra programs and activities in any big city to get to know people.

>Friendliest
Canada

>Unfriendliest
Austrians prboably

Must be absolute cancer working with customer service over there. Here people generally just whisper something under their breath if they're displeased and don't act very self entitled unless it's some 40 year old rich wife.

Nah, Canadians were a lot more understanding when something didn't go their way. Maybe not as much as Brits but not even close to some of the Americans tourists I dealt with.

I don't know about Karlsruhe. But it depends on the region. Been to cologne and couldn't find a single person that's not an idiot. But here in Bavaria it's nearly impossible to not make friends.

Where do you study brudi? Are you german yourself ? Yeah it would have been interesting to have a m8 that also browses Jow Forums. I think my opinion on german people is unfair since it’s based on my daily experiences of dealing with engineering nerdy cunts daily.

Friendliest
Spaniards

Unfriendliest
Russians

Why?

Friendliest: Spaniards
Unfriendliest: the French.

Hamburg. Pretty much up to the north. Just met some spanish Erasmus student and some columbian chich which said last week the same as you did. They don't "warm werden" with the folks here.

But I feel your pain. KIT and other TU9 Universities are pretty known to attract quite a lot asians and german STEM autists. Like you said, it's pretty difficult to deal with them. Especially developing some deeper connection than just "being study buddies". In cities like Hamburg or some bigger cities people do more than just University stuff. But out of experience I think the easiest friends are made in some kind of sport activity like gym or bouldering. Plenty of workshops here too if you are f.e. into programming. Easier to connect and meet people from different backgrounds. There should be atleast someone which is somewhat likeable desu

Oh and yeah, I'm german myself. But the difference between highschool and University life is extreme. University is in all form pretty anonymous.

>But I feel your pain. KIT and other TU9 Universities are pretty known to attract quite a lot asians and german STEM autists. Like you said, it's pretty difficult to deal with them. Especially developing some deeper connection than just "being study buddies"

I wonder how they find themselves in job market, especially that it's also about connections with other specialists (it's easier to find a decent and interesting job) and doing stuff with others.

I remember going to Nizza with some friends and my GF from that time for new years.
A bunch of frenchies throwed bananas at some of us and one of them called my gf whore just because she didn't replied to his advances.
We best the shit outta them and throwed one of them downstairs.
I don't know why but I've always have had negative experiences with male French guys while female French girls are bro tier.

I guess many don't have a problem with finding a job. Since STEM peolple are really in demand here. But they don't the the real good jobs or they will be stuck on the same shit for years and years. There's for example this guy which was in my degree (CS) which was topnotch in A.I, programming and all the necessary frameworks, statistics and so on. He breezed through the entire degree in 4~ semester.
But he was your biggest fedora wearing autist, stereotype linux manlet with long hair with no social skills. Not that's a bad thing but he's still stuck in the basement, living at home and working this programming job ever since.
If that makes him happy, alright. But these kinds of people will stumble upon some kind of hindrance sooner or later if they want to step up. Be it for jobs, conferences or pitchings.

really do like her boobies

Well, I do sysop stuff but I haven't even started my degree (no money, low self-esteem but fuck that) yet and I can say that having dedication for things that you do pays off but you have to 'git gut' a bit in social skills, otherwise professional development won't be possible and coworkers or company will exploit you.
Actually I am speaking from experience.

>But they don't the the real good jobs or they will be stuck on the same shit for years and years
it's a trap, especially in CS/IT (programming, networking, system administration so called devops nowadays)
>stereotype linux manlet with long hair with no social skills
been there, actually was worth it but I wanted to move forward and learn even more, meet people

rural areas are friendly, dense cities are rude regardless of country

Danes are very friendly.
Italians and French are not that friendly until you get invited into their house and eat with them. Than you are their best friend.

Isn't that a bit contradictory

Icelanidc people are very friendly.
have had worst experience with czechs.

Friendliest: Italians
Assholes: frogs

Friendliest: Mexicans and Poles
Unfriendliest: Chinese

Friendliest: Canadians

Unfriendliest: Italians, after going to Italy I really started to dislike them. Never seen so many rude assholes in one place.

Some Canadians were kind of low key passive-aggressive. Most are good people, but they're really quiet and reserved. Kind of noticed that when you go further north

>friendliest

all of western Europe, eastern have capacity for freindship

i've never met a friendly dutch, man or women they're the same cunts.
I've got plenty of german friends, spaniards, italian, finnish, polish, even indian, but no dutch.
If i speak more than 10 minutes to someone from swampland we usually end up hating each other. I can(t explain why they're so fucking awful but they rare

Name a rich country with friendly people.

>Friendliest
Americans

>Unfriendliest
Indians. Arrogant pricks

i also can't bound with brits, they're weird. The middle aged ones are alcoholic morons and the young ones are obsessed with being cool or at least trying to look/sound/whatever cool.

Your picture. I wouldnt consider emotionally unexpressive as friendliness. I found mexicans to be far friendlier than koreans.

Honestly not surprised to see the UK so low on confrontation, we're no adverse to conflict it's socially crippling.

Unfriendliest : Ch*nk, wh*toids, amerimutts. They talk nicely in front of you but once they think I'm not looking, they talk back and making faces. Most of time they don't even hide it.
