I will answer to you my friend, the more possible clearly.

Few years ago, a french fastfood chain opened in France. The chain targeted young and "streets" guys ie son of immigrants. It's called O'Tacos.
The success was very big, plenty restaurants opened, even in New York.
Now even "normal" people go there. Their specialty is obviously Tacos but not at all in the mexican way. it's another thing actually. Kebab resturants in France started to put tacos bread.So now tacos are everywhere in fast food restaurants.
But of course it's called tacos but it's completely different.
