Something I wonder about (and which this photo demonstrates) - why do ships entering the Mediterranean seem to hug the coast of Europe and cluster around each other as they sail past Morocco? I noticed this when I was in southern Spain. Do "migrants" try to jump on boats if they get too close to the Moroccan coast or something?
