I wish America was still like in 50s, not this fascist country it is nowadays

cucks

I wish America was still like in the 1850s

A morbidly obese black woman in a mobility scooter open carrying an AR-15

It really isn't fascist. Just a shitty president who keeps trying to abuse his power but then the judicial and legislative branch keep shooting him down

>le 50's meme

Election day, 2016.

America is not fascist. Fuck off with this meme.

I wish America was a fascist country nowadays

definitely in the top 10 worst presidents desu

youtube.com/watch?v=TZ77xBgIA9s

It's not 'fascist" stricto sensu. However it's hardly a democracy.

fuck off you're not american. Youre no better than the commies

no it's democratic republic backed by a federation of states

>tfw every Russian president so far is in the top 3 worst Russian presidents

Yeah I know it's a republican federal country. Here in american we even elect our school board. How is that not democratic. It's just different. It focuses on a more localized system.

electoral college has to elect based on what their counties/district voted, so it's mostly representative of what the people think. The reason why trump won even though he was 3 million behind Clinton is because of republican Gerrymandering and the fact that liberalism is highly concentrated in cities whereas the rest of the country is majority republican

It has the taste of a democracy but it's not.

When was the last nation wide referendum you had on a real political topic? You only elect the people that will be paid by the corporations to vote what they want them to vote.

If really it was a democracy the will of the people would be reflected in the law. How can guns still be legal when a wide majority of Americans want to ban them? Why are lobbyist even allowed in the congress?

Cuck porn on facebook groups

>a small percentage of population control the government
>the two parties are ideologically the same with little change to make the people think is a democracy
>increase taxes towards the whole population while subsidizing the big companies by using military contracts or direct investments
>mediatic thought control over the population to make the rich even more rich
>religious morality literally dead and replaced by leftist globalism
>people are so indebted they have to choose between dying in Syria or other shithole country, or being forever a debt slave to get a degree
The definition of fascism is literally when a government is so big and controlled by an elite to the point that it literally curbs the individual freedoms of people towards a goal of this elite, be it egalitarianism, be it to genocide the joos, or in your case to simply earn more money

It made more sense when the states had more power over themselves than the federal government did. Lobbyism will probably die in our lifetimes anyways or there will be conflict

We have referendums all the time. Some american states want to ban guns and some don't and that's what happened. Anti gun states have gun control and pro gun states don't. How is that undemocratic.

Also the opinion forming processus is controlled since the media are owned by the same people that pay the congress.

The economy is also controlled by the same individuals, who are shareholders of the FED via their corporations

>democrat
>republican
>same
lmao

Local government confuses the statist

States hold referendums all of the time. It isn't the congressional representatives holding them either, its each state's individual house of representatives that decide the states position on the topic

We have alot of media outlets which criticizes diffrent lobbies.

Attached: bipartisan.jpg (904x750, 51K)

yet nothing can get passed in congress due to identity politics

They don't always agree on the stuff in the moddle. And what's wrong with bi-paritisian bills. Alot of them helped Americans. Even in European parlements sometimes all parties agree on a certain bill.

Once I was in Pennsylvania in the smallest village i ever saw to fix my dad's car. We were speaking French and I feel like the whole village was listening. People would come and ask us what language that was, they had no clue. When the car was fixed and we left a crowd literally clapped like it was the event of the week or some shit.

literally tell me, what is the pragmatic difference in economic, cultural terms of both. Trump is somewhat of an exception tho. Both are literally supporters of the same globalist ideology to the point you guys from FDR until Trump, never really had a real change in your country's paradigm, after WW2 your country only increased the government spending, increased inflation, made the world dependent on your currency. The state you are right now, has been planned for a long time, I mean even the Cold War was somewhat to get to where we are nowadays, a globalist order where every traditional morality is replaced for an individualistic profit based mentality that only makes rich people more rich, and that is Common Sense between Republicans and Democratics, and has only somewhat slightly changed with Trump, which in the end catered more to Russia which got also the same post-Cold War ideology that you guys got. In the end the world nowadays is basically a shitshow between which country will dominate the world to force the globalism America tried to do until Trump. Hence why I sincerely hope we get our shit together after Lula's imprisonment and elect Bolsonaro in October to be the first western country to leave this shitshow

Brazil is unironically the only country in the Americas that would have the potential to leave the USA's sphere of influence. Although the niggers over at CIA will probably try to fuck shit up in your cunt.

It's mostly a cultural conflict between traditionalists (republican) and Liberalism (democrats). This issue alone is the biggest problem in the country.

>identity politics
Define what that is and then tell me why it is wrong

I genuinely don't care about whats wrong with bi-partisan bills. I just posted a meme.

Was with you till the comma

The GOP want's to maintain the nuclear family based, breadwinner model, supported by localized industry and economies. Dems see globalization and the cultural revolution of the 1970s as the way of the future

It's somewhat happening after Lula got arrested. A new moral and nationalistic right-wing is brewing to point we got our generals, our old royal family and the whole population mobilized for them. People want the return of old school brazil and are tired of being the apex of leftism and degeneracy of the world

I believe it. Many small towns are very insular.

>The GOP want's to maintain the nuclear family based, breadwinner model, supported by localized industry and economies.
Literally I've only seen Trump kinda really doing something to appease this. McCain, the Bushes and others literally gave no shits about this. I mean they probably do that to appease the local hilly billy in Southern USA, but if anything their actions show they are as much globalist as the dems

Was Lula set up and is it a good thing?

basically Americans no longer care about the individual issues and policies that each candidate can offer. All we see is the party behind them and as a result there is a rise in tribalism between the two sides. You can't agree with the opposite side on a single issue because they are bad and you have to choose a side and stay with it. News channels are terrible when it comes to this. They always shit smear the party that opposes their agenda. basically it gets rid of all critical thought when it comes to voting and it becomes this bandwagon booth with two buttons and you must press one

Gop does not give a rat's ass about the economy. Where have you been the past 4 months and/or 90 years?

I had the same experience when I was the only English-speaking guy in the tiny-ass Quebec town my grandma lives in. Only it felt less like confusion and more like they wanted me dead.

>local hilly billy
More like the other 50% of the country
Conservatives hear lowered taxes and that's all that matters to them

>90 years
Kys

Meh, it was like this, all 3 establishment status quo parties: PT (Lula's party), PSDB (FHC's party), PMDB (Temer's party) were ideologically the same as they all agreed with the new age globalism system, which thrives on basically a big state with high taxes and leftist mediatic control, but the difference between these three parties was that PT was aligned with the Chinese Communist Party, and PSDB was aligned with the Democratic Party of the USA, and PMDB was the center party that meddles the affairs between the two and acts when the country is at crisis like nowadays. In 2002-2010, Lula was elected and left office with 90% approval ratings, making him the most popular elected leader in history, while his government was plagued by corruption accusations of the opposition, and that was basically because he did keynesian economics (direct investments to a few companies while ramping up taxes), managed to ride the commodity boom of China and with corruption managed to stabilize the political status quo and pass literally a lot of reforms that guaranteed our state to be big and the wealth to concentrate in the hands of a few families, in 2010 Dilma was elected and she simply continued Lula policies and changed nothing, even increased taxes even more, but in 2014 when Ukraine was invaded and Chinese economy started to go down, our economy started to falter, but since it was election year, instead of doing austerity they chose to continue spending, and spent even more. Dilma won by a 1% margin against Aécio (PSDB), and when she took office for the second time she started to do steep austerity measures which made everyone fucking angry. And then people revolted, PSDB/PMDB organized a coup, and created a lame excuse to impeach her, and all of that while the Judiciary had the biggest proofs of corruption against all the PMDB/PT and the president of the house of deputies literally threatened Dilma to stop them or else he would paralize the country for a year.

I wish pol was filled with posters like you

>the most American thing

It's pretty fascist.

American cuisine

Local government is an extension of the state idiot

Not really

Checks and balances still work here bud

I wish America was still like in 1400's

And in the end Dilma said fuck you, we end up having our country paralyzed for an year and a half and she finally got deposed in 2016, and all of that while Federal Police was starting to arrest everyone from her government and started to release illegal recordings of her and Lula speaking by telephone on national television, as the media is pro-USA globalism they wanted PSDB to win the election, and in the end Dilma was impeached but released from being punished for her crimes. And since her vice president was from PMDB, they allied themselves with the PSDB in the new government, making PT the minority. And the Federal Police continued to imprison a lot of people including the President of the House of Deputies that impeached Dilma, but now they started to go against Lula and the head of PT, and since PT was literally losing everything they started to fireback at PMDB and PSDB, and highly benefited by PT's government the CEO of Friboi managed to record both Aécio Neves (PSDB) and president Temer (PMDB) asking for bribes to hush the President of House of Deputies which resulted in total destruction of all status quo parties. But Lula still remained the leader of every poll even tho he had a number of participation in some corruption schemes, but they were stricly proven with hard evidence, different from Temer and Aécio. Which led the Federal Police to charge him over a triplex condo in Guarujá which he wanted to buy with the money of friend's company, and that literally led to his arrest two days ago. And since all establishment parties are dead, people are starting to question how should we stop this corruption circus and make our country a good place, and because of that people are starting to look at moral leaders like the army, the traditional catholic church, the royal family and other stuff.

>, but they weren't stricly proven with hard evidence, different from Temer and Aécio.

That's your cuisine too now.

America is not the country of freedom anymore, since, at least, Reagan.
Then the patriot act made the country slowly falling into the dark side : a fascist-ish oligarchy.
Eisenhower warned you...

To be fair though, all the western countries are following the same path unfortunately

An American

Yeah, obviously all the hipsters will run at the new American store. Burger king is very rare in France (not like the macdo's, they are everywhere here).

Also this. The final blow.

Attached: burger.png (516x605, 328K)

Ha ha, Good one.
I'm not astonished. Jambon-beurre isn't baguette though.

Sorry. we don't know the difference, we only know burgers :D

Burgers are good actually. I... I do eat them.
And i love it.

I wish.

It's not a meme it's rather fascist. Republicans trying to pass bills without democrats and circumnavigate the legislative process to obtain supreme power in the congress.

>How can guns still be legal when a wide majority of Americans want to ban them
Oh. He's special.

News channels are owned by republican interests lookup Sinclair media. The informative voter went the way of the dodo bird thanks to conservatives.

majority of americans want to ban them? really? who said that

el goblino...

there needs to be an antitrust case against news outlets

Real Americans. Oh, you read Braaaapbart. SAD

Yeah but seriously, I don't think there is any risk of the "American" influence making every country the same in the log run as some people claim. That's just some extra things you can try in addition to your own. I think that is good.

It won't happen because republicans are corrupt as fuck.

Might as well call you burger.

Black persons getting elected to the presidency. Prettty fucking American right there.

This is why I unironically support bernie. He hates lobbying with a passion

>be at a big park in Rome
>there's some dude renting Segways
>decide I might as well try it since I'd never seen one IRL
>a yank couple with 2 kids (ages 8 and 13 probably) wants to rent 2 for their kids
>they're all massive
>one of the kids hops on
>moves around a bit
>joyfully screams OMG THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER

That was quintessentially USAtian and I think in that exact moment he became a full American. I swear I could feel a muffled bald eagle cry in the distance.

When I was little and visiting my grandparent’s house on the Puget Sound I was awoken at 5am by the sound of gunshots. I walked into the living room and saw my grandpa on the deck with a 22.
I opened the door and asked him what he was doing. He was shooting crows that were messing around with a bald eagle nest.

>it's hardly a democracy
Bullshit. The US is a democracy by most standards.
It's not a completely proportional direct democracy. I wish it was. But it is still a democracy. We just have a few old institutions due to the age of our constitution.

If the US wasn't a democracy, then that means only a few countries in the world can truly be called democracies.

i would say literally none. or which ones do you think? i don't know what our swiss commie friend understands by democracy, but their women couldn't even vote until like 1970's imagine that.
