being relevant has no benefits its all just a beta cry for approval

People have different priorities in our countries. They care a lot about public services and have faith in (local) government.
We don’t have this ‘fuck you get mine’ attitude

It’s true though. Go to the Great Lakes area and see which did better, Canadian cities or American ones.
You’ll find the American ones are the most decaying while the Canadian ones are far wealthier

Lot of people overlook this aspect of living here, the well regulated financial systems placed under a fair bit scrutiny, sensible labour laws and being able to start/maintain a small business is pretty cool.
Yeah, we're kind of the arsehole of the world in some respects, but its pretty easy to live here for the most part.

We have that system and sucks. Nordic countries would be great even if they were a pure monarchy.
