I grew up in a small beach town, it was very comfy but I had to move to Sydney for uni and work. The government started moving refugees out there and it became a meme area that's full of druggies and refugees committing crime now. My parents sold their house and moved to Sydney because of it.

it's pretty peaceful desu but now everybody died so it's an abandoned village

Life passes you by real fast when you fall into that mood in small towns. I lived for 2 months in a tiny village in a pacific island country (Tonga). It was really surreal how it fucks with your perception of time when you're disconnected from the rest of the world.

My dad lives in one, houses are cheap as fuck so he keeps trying to convince me to buy one and live out there but I'm pretty sure I'd blow my brains out if I didn't drink myself to death first

I don't know how it is in Paris, but I live in Los Angeles. Traffic is a nightmare except super early in the morning or late at night. I imagine there's no traffic in a small town.

traffic is alright inside paris as long as you don't need to take the peripheral road or the road to the airport, which are often stuck
