weaker than now

>Legislature: National Diet
So Japan legislature is squids and rice? That's why you show so many food in anime?

North Korea is literally at 1/40 of South Korea's GDP per capita. There's no way it wouldn't be a massive net drain.

Don't you think that on the long run, though, after twenty years maybe, there'll be some huge potential for growth there with a new market but especially with everything concerning mineral resources?

No look at Germany
People raised on communism can never become functional productive human being in a free market environment

I guarantee that if you unify under a South Korean government Pyongyang will be one of the largest cities in the world sooner or later.

Pyongyang’s unification drive is not a will to wage war with the US. The nuclear program was conceived to compel the peaceful withdrawal of American troops. Encouraged by the long decline of conservatism and of hostility to the North, by public indifference to the twin attacks of 2010, and by Moon Jae-in’s pledges to realize a confederation, Pyongyang believes that a break-up of the alliance would resign the South to its ethnic destiny. It follows that America’s most urgent task is to call publicly on Seoul to disabuse the North of its hopes. This would have to entail formal renunciation of the concept of confederation, the South’s support for which now conveys to Pyongyang a prioritization of nationalism over constitutional, liberal democratic principles. As a sovereign state, the South has every right not to accede to any such requests from its ally. But in such an event, the US government owes it to the American people to take the next logical step — and I don’t mean a strike on North Korea.

There is probably gonna be North Korean terrorist organisations who gonna start bombing Korean infrastructure if they reunify

If Japan invaded North Korea, who would South Koreans support?

Is this a serious question??? I see now why you unclog toilets for a living.

Kek

>Japan invades NK
>China declares war on Japan
>US and SK do nothing since Japan started it and it would mean WW3
>Japan gets Nuked by China

If South Korea and North korea united, there would be alot of social problems but the country would have a construction boom and services too as there would be more 25 million consumers in the korean market, the economy would substantially grow at 5%+ rates every year until it calmed down

I would fight for Japan desu.

Korea need Japan
but we don't need Korea

it's true

Yes, it is serious. You know, in Europe we don't think about Korea that much

Yes! Japan is truly the most magnificent country on the edge of the far east

Bullshit

Why stop at just North Korea?

Korea is already more relevant than japan

China has more chance taking back Haishenwai than Koreans taking back Sanggyeong

If korea unified now, it would absolutely fuck up South Korea economically. It would be like attaching an African shithole to your country.

true so they will never unify
