I just emigrated from the last thread. sharing spoopy personal stories about Mount Robson. my coworker mentioned something crazy that happened to her while she was in the area

At the staff house, things seemed to have gotten worse since i left. I was talking to someone who lived there recently, and they had to start hanging sage around the house because they were so freaked out. loud banging would occur in the house at night. the power went out in the whole house except for one bedroom. Funnily enough thats the bedroom I had when I lived there. the room where i had those terrifying "dreams". probably the scariest thing that happened to me in that staff house happened in that room

That's fucking terrifying. However if all you experienced up there is paranormal activity that has tried to disturb/terrorize you but not physically harm you then I would say it's probably some Native ghost trying to keep you off his land.

Its never harmed us, but the collective dream my rommies and i had about the house burning down and some cunt standing outside laughing at us, and that thing in my room makes me sure that it was in no way benevolent. As for getting someone to come bless the house, its a long way to drive out to get to, and i doubt theres any priests in the area. its not just that house. its the whole area. the shit ive experienced, and stories of others have all taken place along a 40km or so stretch of road along highway 16. even hiking the berg lake trail, ive heard of some crazy stuff happening. my mom told me that when she was doing the hike solo, she saw the head of a bird manifest itself into the face of a mountain. like something you would see while tripping on shrooms. i reckon it does have something to do with the natives though. asking them would probably be the best way to figure out why that area is so paranormal.

Ive also seen some natives performing some sort of ritual in front of the mountain. a group of half a dozen or so were all dressed up in their native gowns and doing some dance and waving incense around. I wish i asked them what that was all about.

From what you have told me so far it seems ( as you said ) to be Native related. I don't think the spirit in the home is benevolent either but as it has only tried to freak you out rather than any physical contact/damage around you I would say it's probably just a Native spirit telling you " fuck off we're full " in their own way. I wonder if bringing religious objects into the home would agitate the spirit, it would go a long way as to honing in on what it could potentially be.

Getting a Native to do a smudging ceremony in the residence may not be a bad idea either.

Stringing up religious objects ( especially blessed ones ) around the home and observing the instances of paranormal observances over the course of a long period of time would be needed.
