I tried this for the first time last week and it blew my mind. Many years ago we have to slide the card in, wait a few seconds and they print out some receipt and you have to sign it, now it's just fucking magic.

So, this is the reason why contactless payment aren't wide spread in America.

It wouldn't be a problem at all if stores would just be consistent about whether they wanted swipe/chip/tap, but for some retarded reason it varies by store. Neither the stores nor the card carriers can seem to get there shit together. And when they intitially rolled out the chips years ago half of them broke in the first week.

Back when every card was swipe and swipe alone there was never any trouble. Even the biggest boomer Luddite could figure it out.

The majority of stores have it in stockholm.
