>your country
>were you forced to write in cursive in your country?
Your country

>forced

>forced
Yes, just like we are "forced" to shit in the toilet and eat with a fork.
Yep.

Its kind of art really
The education board in your state probably thought it was useless so they removed it
Germans actually HAVE to eat WITH a fork? No fucking way!
Penmanship is a lost art indeed
Modern "men" write like kids, it's embarrassing
>It's an elegant base
>most normies switched to a comic sans script at the start of middle school to feel edgy
>now I have an elegant and professional looking script
>their writing still looks kiddy and retarded to this day
Yes.
Also no calculators allowed.
Yes.
They taught it for 3-4 years in school and then some policy changed, I never bothered learning it though. Never got in trouble for it.
Its taught but after that you can write however you want.
Caused me tro write in a mix of print and cursive kek
Nobody forces you.
Only Americans don't understand there is no 'natural' way to hand-write. It all depends on how you were taught at first.
Yes, everyone had to spend one lecture per week writing in it.
>forced
Yeah it was horrible to acquire a useful skill
I'm still traumatized
Let's make this clear once and for all: if you were never taught to, or are currently not able to write in cursive, you're an utter subhuman from a subhuman country.
There is literally no argument to be made.
Yes in primary school, but in secondary school the teachers didnt want us to
The other way around
PEOPLE WITH CYRILLIC ALPHABETS LITERALLY HAVE TO WRITE IN CURSIVE.
THE STATE OF THESE LANGUAGES
You forced your teacher to write cursive?
Only in primary school. Also, cursive is slow and makes the text unreadable if you write fast. But it's possible to write fast and well. Take the regular letters you've learnt and connect them where you like it.
this
Yes, but only in primary school for work related to learning cursive. That's how I remember it at least.
what is it with americans and a strong aversion to cursive writing?
yes, though only in grade school
For one year and then they removed it from curriculum
How else do you write lmao?
