When I was living in Japan, I go to a bar, door is locked, knock on the door, a little very small window would open up (like a speakeasy door window in 1930's) they see a gaijin (foreigner) slam little window shut. go to next bar and so on. I open door on a taxi, got in, taxi driver spoke to my Japan qt, told her get out w/ that gaijin. They are not racist at all.
