It's unironically the red pill when it comes to the future of crypto, government and society. Peter Thiel lives by this book.
Why haven't you read this book yet user?
That book is a masterpiece and I love to see it being discussed. I have read it a couple of times a few years ago and I never was the same after that. It teaches you so many things and shows you so many trends we can't see because the picture is too fucking big.
And interesting part is where they equate the revival of civic virtues and nationalism to the futile revival of chivalry codes well after they stopped working for the megapolitical conditions of the 15th century. Despite having been written in the 90's it is still predicting many things even today. I might even give it another re-read.
Ordered a copy the other day. I'm still waiting for it to arrive.
no need to reset IP samefag my friend
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who is captivated by how fucking good this book is.
I unironically read this book within a month of it's *original* release - it's how I recognised bitcoin for what it was when I first saw it

Every libertarian should read this book. These authors were founding supporters of Laissez Faire City, that sadly failed, but had many infamous cypherpunks and libertarians working
on together back in the early 00's. I believe these guys would've probably been in the same social networks that Satoshi was involved with.
From what I remember, the first cyber coin they created in 2000 was called DMT aka Digital Money Trust
