>Mexicans are going to unironically vote for PRIAN
Why do people fear real change? We're a fucking shithole right now and this man is the only hope we have to climb out of this cesspool chasm

I know that this is a bait thread, but for everyone who actually wants to know anything about AMLO, here is a good, albeit a bit long, summary on our elections, AMLO in general (his past, present and future) and its implications in the most unbiased (although not flawless) article I've found about the subject
dissentmagazine.org
>Why do people fear real change?
Because the odds of it actually working are slim to none.
When AMLO wins, will he arm the CHI rebels?
no
We have nothing to lose anymore. We've hit rock bottom.
Mexico is swamped right now and we need an actual change to get out.
>We have nothing to lose anymore
Have you got toilet paper and a stable currency? If yes, you still have things to lose.
Also, here is an article about Roger Bartra, an actual Mexican leftist, explaining why Mexico doesn't have left leaning option in our next elections, contrary to the people trying to paint AMLO as a communist
Since AMLO is, in reality, an anti-science nationalist allied with the far-right Catholics, who doesn't give a fuck about social issues, and much less about SJW things, more akin to the old PRI than to Benito Juarez, despite AMLO's supposed fanaticism of him (Benito Juarez was responsible for the Church-State separation in Mexico, one of the reasons he is hated by the right wing in Mexico, while AMLO allied with the Mexican baptists)

No
>a stable currency?
Look at what happened to our currency. At some point, it devalued by 100% ever since our current president got in the power.
>d-dont vote for him, g-goy!! or youll be like venezuela, i s-swear!
Back to red dit, underage trash.
Can you summarize his platform?
And lastly, it's important to realise, that unlike Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, AMLO not only doesn't have the support from the army, the congress nor about half of the population, who see him as a genuine threat (Chavez had a support from the vast majority everywhere), BUT our political system doesn't allow for reelections, ever, and our presidency is limited to a 6 year term. And more importantly, AMLO is not actually a leftist and he has no real ideology other than "I'm the least corrupt person on earth, vote for me and my honesty will trickle down everywhere".
That's still pretty stable
You first, commie.
He's the Mexican Hugo Chavez.
Left-wing nationalist, rants against foreign investors and corporations and fat cats etc.
>You first, commie.
>t. insincere ideologue
You people are always good for a laugh.
We're literally at our best in history
>"he's c-chavez, dont v-vote for him!!" cried the increasingly nervous foreign investor for the seventh time this year
Not really
>highest debt ever
>peso devalued the most ever
>highest homicide count ever
Yep at our best :)
You forgot to use the metrics capitalist use to demarcate success.
False
He just wants to end any corrupt contract
He is more of the same, he only managed to brand himself as a new hope from the """"""""""""left's side""""""""""""""" so people paint him as a Mexican Chavez. Which he is definitely not.
Does Mexico have any local investors?
Yeah, that's why he allied himself with Bartlett, Napoleon Gomez Urrutia, Padierna, Esteban Moctezuma, the PES party and Gordillo. Or how he already said he will grant pardons to everyone, from EPN to the drug dealers.
Lots of small mexican companies
Also read this from the link OP posted, proof that there is a system that wants to protect major interests (corruption and injustice)
They call justice "populism"
"In 2004, Vicente Fox’s government revived an old legal controversy regarding a plot of land in an upscale neighborhood, which AMLO’s predecessor as mayor had expropriated in order to build an entrance to a private hospital. After the owner of the plot filed a suit, a judge ordered construction to stop until the matter was definitively settled. AMLO broadly obeyed the judge’s order but the Federal Department of Justice asked Congress to impeach him. The PRI and the PAN voted to remove him from office. Polls showed a majority of Mexicans disagreed with the impeachment and saw it as a politically motivated move to block AMLO from appearing on the 2006 presidential ticket. Massive protests ensued, the most important of which drew almost a million people to the Zócalo, Mexico City’s central plaza. In the end, Fox fired the head of the Department of Justice and appointed a new one who backpedaled. AMLO had been removed from his post as Mexico City mayor but was now free to run for president."
And then 2006 election was a shitload of fraud
It's called strategy that way he gathers info.
Now... He is clean, not a single proof against him.
EZLN is your only hoope. Mexico lindo y bonito.
>AMLO va a acabar el pais, va a acabar don la delincuencia, un mejor futuro
Al rato que estemos como Venezuela no quiero que estes chingando culero
How the fuck is he clean when Bartlett, Napoleon Gomez Urrutia, Padierna, Esteban Moctezuma, the PES party and Gordillo's family are all a part of MORENA?
And Tatiana Clouthier

That is a good article. Man, English articles usually go straight to the point.
I'm not a supporter of him but sometimes I wish he wins so everybody can finally shut the fuck up about him becoming the president.
based
>Lots of small mexican companies
Are they going to be able to replace foreign investors if AMLO turns out to be more than Mexico bargained for?
Breh
>debt and devaluation
los ochenta
>highest homicide count
hace mas de 5 años
kill yourself chairo
They said they had a native woman to run for elections. Dunno what happened.
AMLO plans to establish a border tax-free zone to get ready if NAFTA dies, allowing companies to settle within 20km of all of the US border from Mexico
FARC plz go
kys
When he was Mexico's City mayor, he allied himself with Carlos Slim, the richest man in Mexico (at the time the richest man in the world) to privatize the restoration of the historic centre in Mexico City. He granted tax breaks in the private sector to encourage investing.
His whole shtick, though, (that he alone will defeat corruption magically), failed. He is not Chavez, he is the same we currently have.
Amerindians cant do nothing right
Again, he is CLEAN
And if we look at the shit situation this would be NOTHING compared to the other cunts. This will be an election with 2 kind of voters:
A) the ones that vote afraid of the lies they say about AMLO (oh shit hurr dure we is gonna be Venezuela 2.0!)
B) people that is tired of the lies, the stealing and the degeneration of mexican dignity and have hope(what is left of it)
you need to go back, colonialist puto
You need a ton of signatures to run with no official party, she didn't get them.
Just the most beautiful acient civilization.
AMLO also wants:
>An economic corridor in the narrow geographical area known as Tehuantepec isthmus to enhance the trade between Asia and Europe and between the U.S west and east coast.
>Modern railroad system across the country
>
Then what happened? amerindians now are poor and stupid
then spaniard brutes arrived.
Do I have to teach you the history of your country?
kys
No, he is not. He is a retarded demagogue that will change nothing, he already surrounded himself with the same people as PRI and PAN; he fucking allied himself with the far-right Catholics on top of that. Even people close to the "gober precioso" are working for him.
He has no balls, he always talks about corruption and the "mafia of power", both abstract concepts that change depending on what's convenient for him (that can include everyone from Denise Dresser to EPN if he doesn't agree with them), but when it comes down to point out actual individuals, he not only fails to denounce them but actually HIRES them or promises a pardon. They are trembling, but for the giant piece of cake they will get from him.
Don't be naive: the elite is with him, from Napoleon to Bartlett, it will not affect anything, like it didn't affect Mexico City when he was a mayor, he simply did nothing and let its people be robbed without much resistance. Thinking that his mere presence will hamper corruption is naive and dumb. His real danger is not that he is Chavez, but that he is just like PRI, like when Fox won the presidency and NOTHING changed because he had no balls.
This^
The best option is simply not voting and anarchy.
Anarchy means no leaders!
Not fuck rules
>Just the most beautiful acient civilization.
>"gib tribute"
>no
>"bonk, i sacrifice u"
Beautiful cities maybe, civilization, not so much.
The first thing you mexicans need, is a little bit of education. Here the proof:
>hace mas de 5 años
No, el 2017 fue el año más violento y tuvo más asesinatos que cualquier otro año en la historia reciente de México, grandísimo imbécil.
Thanks
I'd like Mexicans a whole lot more if they weren't commies
>rock bottom
there is no such thing as s "rock bottom" for societies. You can always fall lower. See Venezuela. Heck, even they can still fall lower. The earth can go barren and the rivers can change courses. Population can fall to 0.1% of what it is now, so people can subsist on game and wild fruits and cereals.
If elected he should begin a pretty major pivot towards china.
who that?
>"muh toilet paper"
I bet you think a country where 70% of the industry is privatized is "socialist" too you absolute brainlet
>trusting politicians
>ever
Sure. Why is the government still holding 30% of industry?
