When it rains, some of our streets turn into rivers.

that's bad

My city is on an island in the ocean

new york? hawaii?

Yup. Imagine having to walk uphill to home while these rivers are present. It happened and it wasn't fun.

Your city looks depressing.
We only have canals here

A river...

Attached: spreediamant.jpg (500x322, 51K)

former east germany?

... and a canal.

Those are the two major ones at least. There are around ten smaller ones and a few lakes.

Lol
:)

This is actually exactly the border between east and west. The bridge was a border crossing for pedestrians.
The eastern part should be to the left if I'm not completely mistaken.

>pregnant oyster
hahahahah

You know what's funny? The water goes to towns and cities that where built in valleys and drowns them.

Nah, there is too much ship traffic and it's not the cleanest.
There is a "floating" pool on the river tho.

To swim people go to other rivers and lakes.

Chattahoochee River runs through Atlanta, though not the metro areas. Beautiful river, popular for kayaking, tubing, canoeing, fishing, and general recreation. It’s pretty nice and has very little pollution

one to the south, named "Göta Älv", which runs through the city centre. then there's another one to the north, "Nordre Älv" (lit. "northern river"), that actually branches from the former upstreams. the northern river marks the northern boundary of the municipality of Gothenburg.
