bitcoin community are looking like a bunch of assholes, their shitted over merchants and people that used bitcoin for years now that do not even have the store of value line

it's le digital golde :^^))

>now that do not even have the store of value line
They never had this line - I dont even know where it came from, who pushed this retarded line?

When bitcoin was seeing transnational fees in the $10+ range they started coping with that line. The idea was you don't send bitcoin you HODL it because it doesn't lose value. Then it lost all it's value. The new cope is Lightning network. When that fails they'll just say bitcoin is the foundation of the crypto space and it can't die!

Then it will die

>loses 70% of its value

still up over 1000x from original price

>told you it would go down!!!

You have to understand that a store of value needs to be consistent day to day and month to month. BTC is not.

I'd be so happy if my rent was 1BTC per month :)

This

Not 70% in a single month. Face it, crypto was never supposed to be a store of value. BTC's purpose was to be used for decentralized transfers of value, day to day payments, and it failed miserably at that by not being scalable in regards to both transaction time and fees price.

If you bought high.

You have to understand that each asset's volatile. Just look at gold or silver.

>Face it, crypto was never supposed to be a store of value

Who cares. Many things turned out in another manner as they were planned. So what.

>BTC's purpose was to be used for decentralized transfers of value, day to day payments, and it failed miserably at that [...]
