Anyone here ever slept on a park bench? I need a way to escape this cold, post-apocalyptic, isolated, hellhole and I don't have much money because I live in the woods with my parents with no car and no job. I'm thinking Florida.

Park benches nowadays are specifically designed to prevent hobos from sleeping on em.

That's diabolical
Bet the Jews are behind this

Slept on the street twice in my life. In foreign countries, once in Macedonia and once in Venice. Its shit. Even for a night.
And Im someone that can tolerate a lot of shit and conditions but sleeping in the open is something you shouldnt actively plan on doing.

Id lie belly down, hang a blanket over my head and have my own private theater to watch my chinese cartoons.

How do I get an apartment or room with very little money (and no chance of getting more money where I live)?

unironically, finding a gf and sleeping at her apartment

there are no girls where i live, i live in the middle of nowhere (with no car)

Aren't Mcdonald's stores in Canada open 24H?
They let me stay as long as I'd like for just a cup of 1$ coffee. Free wifi, free charging sockets.

I'd often go there as a broke university student when I missed the last train or needed somewhere to study by myself all night. It was shameful though.

Come live with me

Try calling a hotel or a hostel, they usually will allow you to stay in exchange for doing some work. Have multiple places lined up in case one fails. Dont do this unless you are an adult.

That's nice of them.

Not OP.

Most drive thrus are open 24 hours, not sure about dine-in, especially out in the sticks.

>sleeping outside in macedonia
how are you still alive

I'd put a rectangular piece of wood over it.

I fell asleep in bus once while being completely shitfaced and broken
somehow woke up at my bus stop
magic

Me too. Got a bj from a qt FLIP boy walking home from a McD in the very early morning once, smoked the only cigarette I ever smoked at a McD late at night and once had a coke'd up crazy old girl stare at my dick while I pissed at a urinal with her head like 1 foot away.

Some of my only positive memories from my neet days lel. Based McDs.

Never felt embarrassed about it though, if you're a paying customer and it's not busy and you don't make a mess then it's not a big deal at all if you stay a while.

I might be asking too much for a cup of coffee but not very nice actually.
They put the cooler on with the wind volume at quite large throughout the night to prevent smelly homeless people and poor shit like me from staying in the shop forever comfortably, even on fucking winter snowy days.

So every face I regularly see there bundled up like a balloon, in layers of clothes during winter.

No, our welfare system prevents that.
Slept in a hotel for 3 weeks when my parents kicked me out until I got an apartment.

DId the government feed you for free as well?

Yes?
That's what welfare is.
Food, housing, clothes, medicine, healthcare etc. It's all payed for.

Homeless shelters dipshit. The mustard seed in calgary was pretty comfy, they don't slliw people who are drunk or high in and I've never felt uncomfortable around the crowd. Got a mat to sleep on, two hot meals and a packed lunch a day and they had a shuttle to downtown where I'd hang out or chill at the library. Dunno how homeless shelters would be in the states though.

Depends on the city, I took mid day naps on plenty of benches in downtown calgary and had a good time. But I hear vancouver is nasty for that, lotta bums go there to get away from the cold so vancouver is hostile to them from what i hear.

Allow*

OP probably isn't 18 by his post so they might just send him back to his family unless they kick him out. The shelters probably won't pester you about it. Had a couple of high school punk kids at the seed who would blast music on the shuttle into town, lightened things up.

also prevents fat people from sitting
great engineering

>when my parents kicked me out
how does that happen? do they say get out and don't come back we can't have sex freely because of you?

>how does that happen?
Got into a fight with my alcoholic mother, she told me to never come back and tossed all my crap in the hallway. That was it.
Walked straight to the welfare office from there.

You can get that herr but dealing with welfare staff is the most demeaning shit on earth. Bunch of smug middle aged broads who treat you like an object and not a very good object at that. By the time i got through orientation then talking to one of the staff I decided I want nothing to do with these people and left. So i slept at a shelter nights and got a job in construction. They take care of food (suprisingly good food), and medicine, you got a shelter and a mat, showers and such without having to deal with welfare breathing down your neck and they have staff onsìte to help you find work, see therapists, etc.

Welfare here in Sweden is almost completely contact free, everything is done through papers you fill in and drop off.
Only had to talk to one of them once the first time when I had just become homeless. Took like 30 minutes and she was kind.

Christ, this is abhorrent.

Damn, sounds nice.

Rich people are subhumans.

>I'm paying a rent of $20.000 a month for this store
>yes of course drunk hobos should be able to sit, shit and vomit in front of them
>stopping them from doing this would be inhumane!

>HURRR ME NO LIKE SEE HOMLESS PERSON CUS DEY MAEK ME FEEL BAAD
Kill yourself, subhuman.

I bet you would like to see greasy drunk hobos chilling on benches at your nearby park during daytime
retard

>HURR HOMELSS ARNT PEOPLE CUS IM A SOULESS PSYCHOPATH WHO SPENDS ALL DAY MASTURBATING TO ANIME XDD

>lighter fluid

I didn't say that they are not human
what I'm saying is that they are unpleasant, smell bad and you don't want them near you or any near the bench you plan to sit on with your gf

Attached: 5560520.jpg (313x273, 23K)

what if someone trips and falls on the spikes?

Your anime pillow is not a "gf", Ivan. And you can find another bench.

Attached: 1493929250929.jpg (268x268, 23K)

>anime pillow
epic
>And you can find another bench
and you can shut the fuck up with that logic. I'm not searching for a bench which didn't had drunk hobos pissing and shitting themselves on it, I want every bench to be clean so family with children can have a rest on it during sunny day

if you love homeless people so much, go outside and suck them dry, that would make them more happy

I wouldn’t like to see it but if the poor guy has no other option, I couldn’t care less. Support services for the homeless are lacking at best, and many have habits they can’t beat. Show more compassion buddy.

This shit it's so fucking bad in so many levels holy shit I'm dying

How are "families" supposed to sit on benches when there's useless arm rests separating the bench?

that's your western autism
here in good places we have police around to throw away drunkards and hobos
sadly that is rarity so our average park is covered in garbage and shitfaced people sleep on nearly every bench and sometimes even just sleeping on grass
I guess that's how you want America to look like

A couple of times, it's easier to sleep in the stairwell in an old shopping mall and it's more warm. Parks are dangerous because you get the crazies coming out trying to rob or beat you. Also a lot of gangs beat up vulnerable homeless people for initiation tests.

>the people who lack any kind of empathy or common sense ITT
People don't just become homeless because they're alcoholics or uneducated you idiots, plenty of people with actual jobs become homeless in the US. This is a big "fuck you" to them instead of actually fixing the main problem, that is causing all these homeless people to appear in the first place.
