reddit doesn't have int. You have a bunch of "subreddits" that literally anyone can create. The most popular ones tend to be the most shit, in the end it all comes down to what the mods are like. If they're hands off the site will devolve into 9gag tier crap, if they're "fascist" the process can be slowed down, but usually not halted.

As for discussion, I guess you're right. I visit a few subs for the content, but discussing things in the comments is hard, because popular subreddits have shit comments and criticism is frowned upon.

There was this 15 year old girl that posted her pic on Jow Forumsselfies and a 20 year old women said "you're pretty" and they gave her like 300 downvotes and called her a pedo. The mods are also very Jewy and remove your post with no explanation or for stupid menial reasons. It's also very annoying how they snoop to your post history or use cache to find your deleted posts and use it against you or to doxx you. Retards will upvote anything even if it's low quality. It's run in large degree by different cabals of sycophantic "power mods" who will ban anyone they dislike by and within their nepotistic circlejerks. Everything is treated as subjective except for whatever truth is held in the subreddit you are in, which is of course objectively right.
Reddit is nothing short of a blight upon the internet and basically an anti-forum that discourages debate and encourages adherence to the local established narrative.
