Unless you are from the west highlands or western isles and have a name with s Gaelic origin you are far more likely to be of Brythonic or Anglo decent than a Gael. Scot nats never seem to have a good grip on history.
Most Scots are indigenous Brythonic British with some Anglo or Norse admixture. Gaels are pretty limited in influence and really are from Ireland.
