His story is fiction though, in fact the government has parties wanting to shore up development and defense in the north to stop others exploiting our waterways.
Remember, when the US controlled Panama, that was fine. When the British controlled the Suez that was fine but now it's not fair and wrong if Canada controls the NWP.
