It's not comfy when it's been like this for 6 months straight already.

this, winter gets old fucking fast
are you in edmonton?

Toronto. It's been ridiculous for 3 days straight already.

I wish I had that weather here

can we swap
we had 34C mid autumn days down under

Ah. Winter is over here in BC finally. Beautiful may weather is coming soon. Edmonton is still under feet of snow, glad I left that shithole.

No, you don't.

>BC

Yes I do
I fucking hate sweating

last year we had both the worst wildfire season and worst flooding in 100 years

yeah climate change will do that. The summers are getting hotter and the winters are getting colder

I don't disbelieve man-made climate change, but no, the wildfires weren't caused by that. They were caused by a lack of normal wildfires over the past decade which led to a large accumulation of dry trees, coupled with a failure to light enough controlled fires.

well honestly you can see it's a huge problem just driving in the backwoods, there is dead shit fucking everywhere and it's a massive bonfire waiting to happen

same reason why pine beetles are fucking our shit up too, there's a lack of natural fires to burn them out

It's not a manmade thing, it's natural. Climates change slightly over time. My city is smoked out every year and I didn't notice a huge difference last year than any other season. You might have noticed a difference up in Vancouver because of the massive Columbia river fires and various North Cascades fires that smoked up the coast for an unusual amount of time.

Rich mother fucker with white snow go fuck yourself. I live in shitty grey town filled with alcoholics and with a -10 Celsius wind right fucking now kill me

No you guys just had a weird low pressure phenomenon where all of the smoke accumulated in Vancouver and sat for a while. I get bad smoke every year and i've never heard as much bitching about smoke online than I did last year

this is what a normal year looks like

I live in the interior man, everything around and north of us was on fire and a lot of people lost their homes
No, we had real wildfire smoke, we could fucking smell it, the sun was pink up until it was almost fall

yeah it was bad here too in spokane, idk what that guy is talking about
