nah, thats what the tourist guide told us, medellin is known as the pink city because of its large amount of brick biuldings and shit.
it was one of the things that caught my attention actually, every fucking single buiding was bricks, here in Mexico (or at least Guadalajara) brick is used in low income areas, so if you are standing in a lookout you can clearly distinguish where not to go simply byu looking at the amount of brick houses, if it looks orange youll get raped.
yet in Medellin at the distance it all looked the same, color-wise obviouslly, also we are used that big buildings are made of concrete and glass, so seeing big ass brick building was intresting

Yeah but for a country of our size it still pretty low (6 million tourists last year). Compare that to Mexico's 30+ Million. Though proportionally we'd have about 12 million tourist per year. Colombia is really comfy and has one of the most diverse nature I've ever seen in a country. In a few weeks you can see mountains, deserts, jungles, farms and flatland, beaches, big ass cities, etc.
It's a really relax and decriminalized country, so you can expect police not to harass you for shit we couldn't do in North America.
