i'm venetian and i unironically found in the registers 8 ancestors born in Kotor in XV century (not slavs btw i think venetian expats). I've to visit your little country one day. It was a jewel when we were the rulers of the Eastern Seas.

I live in Kotor, but family came in the last one hundred years.
Kotor became (willingly) part of the Republic in 1420 and became prosperous under Venetian rule, the city is still covered with many symbols of Saint Marks lion

Kotor is in ruins. They just use us for quick tourist bux and siphon all the money generated here into the capital and further north. The streets are flooded, the fortress walls pitch dark and the bay water is plagued by cruiser oil. Sad!

The double headed eagle has been in use since the Crnojevic dynasty of Zeta, It probably was Byzantine influenced but the modern one is from the Petrovic dynasty witch has mostly Russian influence

Ne brate mislim na pravo ulje. Vidiš ga kako sija u ljubičaste i plave boje dolje na Muo. Sve je masno i lijepi ti se na kožu. Uvijek se javlja i kupi blizu obale kad kruzeri odu. Ne pričam o onom kafeno-žutom sranju u centar.

Yes I watched a documentary/info about Venice the other week. It was so relatable seeing old people complain about the exact same issues we're dealing with here. They also wanted to secede and stuff.
