Why do people go to college? No really, how do people not see through the college scam? I mean, if you’re truly passionate about what you study, I can understand, but if you’re someone who’s going to college just to get a good job, you’re basically shooting yourself in the foot. College really isn’t worth it all nowadays...

>you need a degree to be a doctor
>you need a degree to be an engineer
>you need a degree to be a lawyer
>but you don’t need a degree to be rich and live a good lifestyle

>trust me guys, I swear I learned the material from youtube videos, I promise!

Here in my garage...

People do it because it's basically mandatory if you don't want to clean old people's asses for the rest of your life.

I mean, there’s millions of good jobs you can build a good financial platform off of, you don’t need college to get a good job.

Argument dismissed

Fucking kek

Theres plenty of good jobs you can get with a high school education sure
But there's plenty of jobs you can't get without a degree...

Argument dismissed

>pls sir I am qualified to perform open heart surgery, I watched a live leak video

Yes I understand, but why go through college and take on 100K debt when you could just work any regular job, save and invest your income, build your own business, and be better off within 5 years compared to the college cucks who take 15+ years to pay off the debt, it’s the most unreasonable shit ever.

In my country, university/college fees are affordable.

There is also a high competition to get the best jobs in the public (especially this one due to facilities) and the private sector.

If you're not a graduate, you should prepare yourself to face a sad reality as you will get shitted down as a subhuman that can only do basic menial tasks/low end jobs, unless of course you like entrepreneurship.

>Served in army for two years
>Saved the entire time because not retarded
>Got out with $25k and a paid off car
>Invested in Ethereum last year now worth over $100k with savings
>Graduating debt free next month and have a job

Inb4 dying for Israel or some shit. I really had no options coming from a dead beat household

Did you get to shoot any brown people user?

You just need to study statistics on your own
If you become good at statistics you can just trade full time

I wish my dude, I wish

>save and invest your own business in 5 years
looool

Unlucky man, at least you won't have PTSD though.

Inb4 user shoots up work place at new job haha

Great advice op. I guess you're doing very good for yourself now then? Way better then all the people dumb enough to get a degree

Hey you little dipshits, we get it that you can become rich by not going to college. No fucking way? How did Bill Gates and Steve Jobs become rich? Of course by dedicating their time on some revolutionary ideas.

The thing is that people always talk about the success stories but not about the failures. If you want to have a stable growth line (stabilty!!!) then you follow the college line. Most of the guys on biz are some NEETs who pretend to be crypto gods but actually are miserable fucks.

Yes i hate the path that i have chosen but i would rather live a life, have a roof and a rich gf rather than risk my life being a fucking NEET at McDonalds.

>"Hello I'd like to apply for this job"
>"Ok where did you get your qualification?"
>"I was self edumacated, because collige is fucking socialist propaganda"
Yeah no, just get a STEM then a business degree. Easy!

My Dad did very well for himself considering he doesn't have a degree, works pretty high up at a bank but this is a thing of the past user. It's almost a requirement now to have a degree in order to be able to compete in the workforce, not because university teaches you anything particularly useful, but a lot of people just view it as a prerequisite to a white collar job.

Yes, there are people like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates who didn't finish college, but exceptions don't prove the rule. You're better off going to college than not.

most people don't have the willpower necessary to be in charge of their own education
an institutional path makes sense for this majority
this doesn't necessarily mean college, there's little doubt many would do better in trades than getting a degree in history or philosophy
but college is necessary for a large part of the population
