I heard soils are of bad quality, but that seems to be problem only in the north, not here in Primorye. Low population mainly centered in cities of Vladivostok (~600k), Nakhodka (~140k), Ussuriysk (~200k) and Artem (~50k) doesn't help either, there are villages but they're rare.

I moved to Yekaterinovka, 8km north of Nakhodka a year ago and am developing my plot of land for agriculture right now, crops seemed to be decent, shame though I fucked up with storage and rats rendered all that food useless. So it's just lack of investment I would presume.

Is camping and outdoor stuff common over there ? I just read a couple things about Primorski and it seems pretty beautiful and interesting as far as nature goes. Would tigers be a genuine threat to a random camper ?

Skyrim was always an uninteresting choice for a setting. They may have retconned Cyrodiil being a jungle, but Skyrim was always just a snowy wasteland full of "totally not Vikings" in canon.
