Chinese popular culture is boring even by Asian standards. But like the guy above me says, they have an interesting ancient culture and there has been a respectable Sinoboo culture in that respect that goes back a long way (it's called Sinology).

True, there are Ameriboos already

Chinaboos definitely do exist but not for pop culture. I once knew a rich Scotsman and his house was covered with Chinese antiques and he said he would love to be buried like the first emperor of China because he’s a weirdo. I also knew this girl who was obsessed with Easter Island of all places.

>Why don't Chinaboos exist?
Most '-boos' stay in their country, never travel out of it and fantasize about how 'great' that other country without even experiencing it. Chinese doesnt produce entertainment (music, movies, tv show, etc) that appeals to people outside of the Chinese-speaking community.
However, of all Asian countries, Chinese men are the most outspoken, most adventureous (there are more Chinese around the world than any racial / ethnic group / diaspora), and most successful in any country they go to. This has been true since when they emerged from the Yangtze & Yellow River and spread outward.
