No, there is nothing better than being a weekend warrior.

>barely work when not on course
>get paid big bucks when on course
>all the benefits of being in the military socially
>can leave whenever you want

Have fun standing in the rain on a sunday for 50 € a day kiddo

> (OP)
>all the benefits of being in the military socially
Except actual milfags laugh at you.

Oh no.

Coop är bättre.

>"I care about 'social benefits'"
>"LOL who cares if I get laughed at"
Pick one.

The social benefits of getting laid just for being in the military and getting free shit all the time. Are you dumb? Who cares if some reg force faggot "makes fun" of me? Most reg force members are genuinely nice guys and are former reservists.

OP is from Belgium user, everyone laughs at him anyway.

That doesn't work if it's obvious you aren't a real soldier. National Guard guys come to my town all the time in uniform expecting a free lunch or drinks and it never happens.

It's almost like we're in to completely different countries with two completely different militaries.

i dont know, what is a reservist anyway?

Yes, I'm sure that our two militaries are structured completely differently and the culture is entirely dissimilar.

based FRENCH post

Look, I don't know what you're trying to get out of telling me what my experience was like in the reserves, but good luck with that.

I'd show you all the free food I was given while in uniform but unfortunately it turned into shit.

>what is NATO
every western military is more or less shaped like whatever the US tell them to. doubly so for Anglo countries and the shitload of treaties you sign through the commonwealth and all.

>army fights for freedom
>marines fight to kill people
>reservists fight for a free meal at denny's
really makes you think

>what is NATO
a tool used by the Americans to encroach on Russia
But anyway, no, there is little to no standardization within NATO in terms of anything.

every now and then you spend a month fucking around with your uniform, shoot 20 rounds into a wall of sandbags and call that "training".
the government pays you to and might call you to guard a train station or something.

Your experience in the reserves is apparently irrelevant to OP since according to you, reservists get treated completely differently depending on country.

alright bud, good chat we had.

>Bulgaria
