Then we just spend time catching up and reminiscing about the old days when technology wasn't as advanced as it is today (like how we only had gameboys back then instead of VR or how we could only kick a soccer ball around outside on the street instead of sitting at home playing COD multiplayer)

Once I get the HSK vocab I might start yoloreading books, and that's what the question's about. With Japanese you've got hentai doujinshi and manga and stuff but with Mandarin it feels more like final destination. Guess I can import xianxia novels or something like a good pleb
