It pretty well illustrates how the post-colonial period in Africa have mostly failed. "Whites" have 0 true influence in these countries anymore. Something surprising to me is when I went to Harare a couple of years ago I felt very safe and the city was quite nice but when I went to South Africa namely Cape Town certain areas felt like a warzone. I always assumed Zimbabwe was in a much worse situation than RSA.
