shouldnt that area belong to chile?
it is closer after all
Do the people there have lighter skin than other Argentines? They're further from the equator.
No. Also there are a lot of Brown immigrants from Northern Argentina and neighboring countries. Almost everyone is an immigrant because it was uninhabited just 50 years ago
it doesn't have anything to do with that, unless you are talking about the natives, and I don't know enough about their status there to answer that
They kinda had a war over that shit.
>what happens here
Tourists, good restaurants, cold, isolation and nice quality pussies to fuck.
Shut up macaco, the world must not know about that
Why are you being rude, mapuche fuck?
shut the fuck up little turd
60,000 people live there? What the fuck.
>unless you are talking about the natives
They were a creepy version of mapuche. Not white at all
>I don't know enough about their status there to answer that
Pure onas are exitinct. Only far descendants exist now. So Tierra del Fuego, at least on the Argentine side, is completely devoid of natives.
Mostly due to the industrial development that happened a few years ago. Many assembly factories are/were located there.
Go overdose under a bridge, sub-peruvians.
chile cucked us in 1902 so nowadays we must go through their country to go there by car, so we must give them money
los pingüinos
Tourism and tech assembly factories
Really shitty electronics assembled by retards
Because of those shitheads we got 70% total tax on imports
FML
t. Peruvian with a fucking leaf
It was about one of those channels under that island.
Darwin found some fossils there or something
Why is there an industrial center there? Didn't we create the Panama Canal so we didn't have to go that far south?
so that people move there and populate the area, also to increase the national industry
we would have little claim over the patagonic/austral lands otherwise.
that province is free of taxes so more people and factories move there.
Because the faggots that governed us before literally paid Samsung to install a factory there so they could Say that they were giving jobs to people. But they shit they produced there was so expensive that they could only sell it in Argentina thanks to the absurd tariffs we had for imports. Now they are falling apart because they cannot produce at competitive prices
because of tax benefits to increase population...
Ah okay. I don't think I could handle that level of isolation, no matter the financial benefits.
brah....
Hilter lives here
underrated
better res
Don't they get cold?
Is the Patagonia Argentina's equivalent to say Japan's Hokkaido?
Probably. Or to Russia's Siberia, but not that cold. Only around 5% of the country's population live in the Patagonia eventhough it's like 40% of the landmass.
Whats Hokkaido like? Our patagonia is a cold desert
Are there volcanoes there? Do people live on those scattered islands?
Hahahha nowhere close
There are volcanoes near the Andes but there are no people living on scattered islands. In fact there is only one island in the Patagonian Argentina. Chilean Patagonia has many more islands though, maybe it's closer to Hokkaido
Lol no. Patagonian cities are really small and separated by great distances from each other.
silent hill shit
Very few people live on those islands, think of them as mountain ranges with their bases underwater, so not a lot of room to build (that assuming you would want to live in such a remote area in the first place)
the new games workshop models are looking pretty cool
I like the name Ushuaia
