My bestfriend (childhood) is a jew and we were pretty good friends until he moved away to another city.
I may be extremely antisemitic towards jews on Jow Forums and be extremely hateful towards israel but that doesn't mean that I should treat him badly because of a religion he was born into.
He ended up converting to christianity though he still loves/supports jews.
