I do it all the time. From Maryland we used to drive to Florida every year, to Vermont one year, to Colorado another, to South Dakota once with family and once by myself, and then to Canada twice. As well as other hours long roadtrips. Driving is in my family's blood

Red Rock Amphitheatre is just 40 minutes away. Drove to valley of the gods. If we had another day we'd go to the top of pikes peak. There's a lot of nice parks. City center park? There's also one in downtown with the Platte River flowing through it, super neat.
